\tWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team at Barron. The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our overall digital marketing strategy with the goal of driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead generation.
\n\tThe ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing tactics, tools, and platforms, coupled with a proven track record of maximizing ROI on campaigns. This role also requires leadership, innovation, and the ability to align digital initiatives with Barron\u2019s broader business strategy across Africa.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with company goals and objectives.
\n\tManage and optimize multiple digital channels including SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, content marketing, and display advertising.
\n\tMonitor, analyze, and report on digital marketing performance to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
\n\tCollaborate with internal teams (Sales, Commercial, and Website) to create and optimize impactful digital content and campaigns.
\n\tStay informed on the latest digital trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure innovation in Barron\u2019s marketing efforts.
\n\tLead and mentor a team of digital marketing specialists, including a Marketing Coordinator and Senior Marketing Graphic Designer.
\n\tBuild and maintain strong working relationships with agencies, vendors, suppliers, and industry partners.
\n\tOversee development and approval of digital and marketing material, including website updates, social media content, and campaign collateral.
\n\tEnsure all campaigns are aligned with Barron\u2019s brand presence in local and international markets.<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (NQF 7 minimum, postgraduate qualification advantageous).
\n\t5+ years\u2019 experience in digital marketing with a strong focus on strategy development and campaign execution.
\n\tProven success in driving results and ROI through integrated digital marketing campaigns.
\n\tStrong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
\n\tExcellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
\n\tExperience in people management (minimum 3 years).
\n\tProficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEO tools, HubSpot, and social media management platforms.
\n\tExperience in wholesale\/retail or FMCG industries preferred.<\/p>\n
Additional Requirements<\/p>\n
\tValid Code 8 driver\u2019s license and own transport.
\n\tFlexibility with regards to travel and working hours.
\n\tMust be a South African citizen.<\/p>\n
