\tIt all starts with people. People like you. Join us a Shift Assistant. You will play an essential role in ensuring the performance, safety, and durability of Ground Engaging Tools (GET) by applying proper procedures, monitoring product life, and enforcing quality control.
\n\tYou will also support internal teams and customers with technical expertise, reporting, and equipment management, while promoting operational efficiency and compliance with Epiroc’s health, safety, and environmental standards.<\/p>\n
Your Mission:<\/p>\n
\tActive stock replenishment.
\n\tAssess operator interaction and competence.
\n\tMonitoring of product life.
\n\tReport on product performance.
\n\tEnsure compliance with quality control standards and procedures.
\n\tEnsure accurate record keeping of all tools issued and returned to the tool store
\n\tReport and coordinate all loss and damage to tools and\/or equipment
\n\tInspect and maintain an inspection register for all company-owned equipment
\n\tAdhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and policies
\n\tParticipate in safety training and initiatives by reporting any safety hazards or incidents promptly<\/p>\n
Your Profile:<\/p>\n
\tMatric \/ Grade 12
\n\tMinimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the mining or construction industry
\n\tTechnical background knowledge on tools and ability to identify and report on tool conditions.
\n\tAbility to lift and move heavy equipment and components
\n\tCapability to stand, bend, and work in various positions for extended period.
\n\tGood hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
\n\tAbility to work in a workshop environment that may include exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.<\/p>\n
