\tAcademic leadership \u2013 Teach and assess at undergraduate\/postgraduate levels; Develop curriculum in applicable field of specialisation, influence the development, maintenance, and control in field of specialisation.
\n\tResearch \u2013 Undertake post-graduate research in field of specialisation, provide accredited research outputs and undertake post-graduate supervision and examination.
\n\tIndustry relationship building \u2013 Liaise with industry including consultation work\/collaborative research and plan.
\n\tCommunity engagement \u2013 Participate in community flagship programme\/projects.
\n\tAdministration \u2013 Conduct student and academic administration and reporting duties in line with responsibility.
\n\tInternal process \u2013 Performing ad-hoc duties as assigned by the line-manager.<\/p>\n
APPLICATION CRITERIA:
\nQualification and Experience:<\/p>\n
\tA completed PhD in Public Relations\/Journalism\/Communication Studies\/Strategic Communication or relevant field.
\n\tMinimum of six years teaching experience in higher education, or at least six years industrial or practice relevant experience.
\n\tRelevant research experience will be a recommendation.
