Duties (not an exhaustive list):<\/p>\n
\tResponsible for all grade 0 to 2 Phys Ed lessons
\n\tResponsible for the running of all whole Grade sport sessions (1 \u2013 2)
\n\tDesign age-appropriate coaching plans and ensure progressive skill development
\n\tOrganise fixtures, festivals, and internal sporting events
\n\tAssisting with the Senior Prep sports programme \u2013 coaching and officiating (weekdays and weekends)
\n\tLead, manage, and develop the JP Boys sporting programme in alignment with the school\u2019s vision and ethos
\n\tBuilding the curriculum, taking developmental phases into account
\n\tEngage and inspire boys, encouraging a love of physical activity and sportsmanship.
\n\tSelect, train, and monitor coaches, and coach and umpire as appropriate
\n\tCoach and mentor staff to ensure high-quality sports delivery
\n\tMaintain communication with parents, staff, and external stakeholders regarding sporting matters
\n\tEnsure health, safety, and child safeguarding standards are upheld in all sporting activities<\/p>\n

Required Qualifications and Experience:<\/p>\n
\tRelevant qualification in Education and\/or Sports Management
\n\tSACE registered
\n\t3 years of physical education teaching experience
\n\tJunior prep teaching experience an advantage
\n\tConversational Afrikaans for Grade 1\u20132 is an advantage
\n\tExperience in coaching and officiating several different sporting codes<\/p>\n
