Lead the development and execution of trade marketing & branding strategies. This role is responsible for bridging the gap between brand awareness and trade execution, ensuring that our brand not only shows up powerfully in-market but also resonates across all trade channels.
\n\tThis involves market research, campaign development, budget management, and performance analysis.<\/p>\n
Minimum Qualifications \/ Experience \/ Skills:<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Marketing or any other related business field, an MBA with a specialization in Marketing or Strategic Management would be advantageous.
\n\tAt least 5 years of working experience in a trade marketing or brand management
\n\tposition within a fastpacked and dynamic business environment, preferably as support personnel for senior Management.
\n\tProven experience in building brands and executing strategies in a trade environment.
\n\tStrong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into action.
\n\tBusiness development skills\/experience & Project management.<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):<\/p>\n
Brand Strategy & Execution<\/p>\n
\tLead and manage Afrimat Cement\u2019s overall brand positioning, visual identity and voice across all touchpoints.
\n\tDevelop integrated marketing campaigns that strengthen the brand presence in the trade environment.
\n\tCreate and implement brand and trade marketing plans aligned with business objectives.<\/p>\n
Trade Marketing & Channel Alignment<\/p>\n
\tEnsure consistent brand visibility and messaging in all retail and trade environments.
\n\tCollaborate closely with sales, distribution, and retail partners to drive channel-specific marketing.<\/p>\n
Relationship Management<\/p>\n
\tBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (sales, operations, product) and external partners (retailers, agencies, suppliers).
\n\tAct as the key liaison between the brand team and the commercial\/trade teams to ensure alignment and relevance in all trade-facing activities.<\/p>\n
Research & Insights<\/p>\n
\tConduct regular market research and trade analysis to identify opportunities, challenges, and emerging trends.
\n\tGather trade and customer feedback to inform campaign development and product positioning
\n\tMonitor competitor activity in the market and proactively adapt strategies<\/p>\n
Project Management & Execution<\/p>\n
\tOversee execution of all trade and brand marketing projects from concept to roll-out.
\n\tEnsure all campaigns are on-brand, on-budget, and delivered on time.
\n\tManage agency relationships and coordinate creative asset development where needed.<\/p>\n
Reporting & ROI<\/p>\n
\tDefine key KPIs and report on the effectiveness of marketing activities and campaigns
\n\tContinuously measure performance and optimise strategies based on results
\n\tDeliver regular marketing performance updates to senior leadership.<\/p>\n
