Planning<\/p>\n<p>\tTo create and execute multi-channel acquisition and retention marketing strategies to enhance customer loyalty, retention, frequency and lifetime value<br \/>\n\tOversee SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing and content marketing efforts.<br \/>\n\tMonitor and optimise the performance of campaigns through data analytics based on KPI&#8217;s, conversion rates and ROI<br \/>\n\tWork with the brand manager to maintain and enhance brand perception<br \/>\n\tManage advertising budgets and media buying and placement (Google, TikTok, Meta, Radio, etc)<br \/>\n\tPlan discounts, promotions and events to boost sales<\/p>\n<p>Implement strategy built by the executive team:<\/p>\n<p>\tBuild and execute a marketing plan for each channel<br \/>\n\tEnsure an aligned brand\/campaign calendar (owned by the brand manager)<br \/>\n\tPlan, implement and monitor monthly\/weekly execution through key channels<\/p>\n<p>Strategic Leadership:<\/p>\n<p>\tLead and shape marketing strategy across all business verticals, aligned to the Head of Growth and overall strategy.<br \/>\n\tTranslate business goals into measurable marketing OKRs.<br \/>\n\tParticipate in business reviews and strategic planning sessions.<\/p>\n<p>Manage the relationships:<\/p>\n<p>\tInternally: HR, Commercial, Operations and Tech<br \/>\n\tExternally: Agencies, Vendors and partners<br \/>\n\tUpdating senior leadership on the progress of marketing activities and reporting on the results of campaigns<br \/>\n\tManage the budget for all marketing, advertising, branding and promotional activities.<br \/>\n\tEnsure information on all OC digital platforms is continuously updated<br \/>\n\tWork closely with brand, sales and other teams to align marketing efforts<br \/>\n\tRemain the voice of customers and advise product teams and feedback from customers<br \/>\n\tWork together with development, product and call centre teams for call listening and product testing<br \/>\n\tOwn the voice of the customer by driving NPS and CSAT discussions and progress<br \/>\n\tBuild and execute B2B marketing strategies to support SaaS lead generation, sales enablement, onboarding, and retention.<\/p>\n<p>Quality\u00a0Control<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure the quality of the Marketing department&#8217;s work is of a high standard<br \/>\n\tPerform a &#8216;quality check&#8217; on marketing materials before they go to print or are uploaded to digital platforms.<\/p>\n<p>Financial Compliance &amp; Procurement by:<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure full compliance with Massmart and OneCart financial protocols.<br \/>\n\tOversee marketing-related procurement, vendor onboarding, and PO processes.<br \/>\n\tMaintain monthly budget reconciliations and support finance audits.<\/p>\n<p>Governance, Legal &amp; Brand Compliance: Ensure that all marketing materials and campaigns comply with:<\/p>\n<p>\tLegal and regulatory standards.<br \/>\n\tIntellectual property and brand usage policies.<br \/>\n\tPOPIA and data privacy best practices.<\/p>\n<p>Technology Stack Ownership by:<\/p>\n<p>\tLeverage and manage key marketing systems, including:<br \/>\n\tCRM and automation platforms<br \/>\n\tAnalytics platforms<br \/>\n\tCMS and reporting dashboards.<br \/>\n\tDrive automation and reporting to enhance efficiency and ROI.<\/p>\n<p>Sales Support<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure sales pipeline management to achieve overall merchant and ad revenue goals.<br \/>\n\tOversee merchant onboarding and key account management<br \/>\n\tAttend, support and present product offerings to prospective brands and merchants<br \/>\n\tEnsure adequate new merchants and B2B business, in line with overall organisational goals<\/p>\n<p>Commercial Alignment by:<\/p>\n<p>\tCollaborate closely with Commercial and Finance teams to optimise marketing spend.<br \/>\n\tAnalyse and track CAC, LTV, AOV, conversion, and campaign ROI.<br \/>\n\tDrive marketing\u2019s contribution to revenue growth and unit economics.<\/p>\n<p>People\u00a0Management<\/p>\n<p>\tManage and coordinate marketing and business development teams<br \/>\n\tDefine team structure and lead direct reports across digital marketing, CRM, content, and performance.<br \/>\n\tSet and manage team OKRs.<br \/>\n\tProvide mentorship, training, and performance feedback in line with OneCart\u2019s values and growth plans.<br \/>\n\tEnsure the team delivers all collateral required to support all campaigns<br \/>\n\tReport weekly on the following:<br \/>\n\tKey channel performance: CRM, social media, Paid and organic marketing, email marketing<br \/>\n\tAcquisition and retention<br \/>\n\tCampaigns: internal and external<br \/>\n\tProvide adequate on-the-job training, coaching, support and counselling to team members.<br \/>\n\tMotivate the team towards continuous improvement and achievement of agreed benchmark standards.<br \/>\n\tTeam members are actively involved in setting goals and are encouraged to solve problems and make decisions relevant to their work.<br \/>\n\tTeam members are treated in line with business values and ethical guidelines.<br \/>\n\tEnsure standards of performance are clearly defined, communicated and recorded where necessary.<br \/>\n\tContinuously assess and monitor performance and ensure development plans are agreed upon and implemented to address gaps.<\/p>\n<p>Effective teamwork and\u00a0Self \u2013Management<\/p>\n<p>\tMaintain a positive attitude<br \/>\n\tTake ownership of driving your career development (skills and knowledge)<br \/>\n\tStay up to date with the latest digital marketing trends and best practices.<br \/>\n\tPlan and priorities, demonstrating abilities to manage competing demands to achieve agreed deliverables<br \/>\n\tCommunicate effectively, maintain relationships<br \/>\n\tFollow any lawful and reasonable instruction from your line manager<br \/>\n\tAct as part of the Growth team by assisting other members of the team to achieve common goals<br \/>\n\tConsistently live and be an example of the Company values<br \/>\n\tTimely reporting of all instances of suspected or proven fraud via the appropriate reporting channel<br \/>\n\tAdherence to the company policies and associated company policies and procedures<\/p>\n<p>Minimum Academic, Professional Qualifications &amp;
