Requirements :<\/p>\n
\tMatric plus NQF level 6 \/three-year Diploma in IT or relevant qualification, coupled with 2- 3 years\u2019 appropriate experience within the field of ICT.<\/p>\n
Duties :<\/p>\n
\tAssist in attending to calls logged within SLA requirements as per the department. Assist to provide and update technical assistance, documentation, diagnostics, installations, and re-imaging of machines. Assist the Supervisor on all server and network issues in the department.
\n\tAssist in the delivery of all ICT and desktop support projects. Assist in the manual audits of all network pc\u2019s and servers in the environment.
\n\tAssist in ensuring that servers have the latest patches and antiviruses installed. Assist in the creation of shared folders for directorates for file sharing purposes.
\n\tAssist in the monitoring and maintenance of the infrastructure and report accordingly. Assist in CIO policy drafting and amendments for the department. Attend weekly internal and external IT meetings when required. Advise on warranty of the current existing infrastructure.<\/p>\n
