Description<\/p>\n
\tPerform the job as outlined in the work order and as per the detailed task list.
\n\tCapture history and complete the notification to the required standard.
\n\tConfirm work order with the correct time and details to the required standard.
\n\tProvide feedback to the Maintenance Supervisor on any tasks where there is a difference between the task instruction and the job requirements
\n\tCommunicate if spares, equipment or other factors were not available for the job on the work order and to the Maintenance Supervisor.
\n\tConduct fault finding on defective equipment where required.
\n\tEnsure adherence to health and safety, environment, quality and housekeeping in section
\n\tApply fault-finding techniques, conduct root cause failure analysis and regular plant inspections
\n\tMaintain and repair mechanical parts, components and equipment
\n\tComply with (Occupational Health and Safety Act) OHSA and (Mine Health and Safety Act) MHSA standards, ensure that installations comply with statutory regulations, conform to safety standard and planned maintenance system requirements
\n\tAttend to brake- down effectively and safely.
\n\tEnsure availability of spares by adhering to Rotables procedure where applicable.
\n\tComply with Health and Safety Regulations as per Barberton Mines Organizational Requirements<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 Certificate
\n\tFitter Trade Certificate (Section 13 or 26D)
\n\tMinimum 5 years Fitter experience
\n\tOwn Transport as position requires standby
\n\tValid certificate of physical fitness
\n\tAbility to read and write in English
\n\tBe able to work shifts and call outs
\n\tDrivers License<\/p>\n
