PURPOSE<\/p>\n
\tThis position reports to the SHEQ Manager and it exists to manage and support company SHEQ initiatives achieve company objectives.<\/p>\n
RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
Functional Management<\/p>\n
\tReport to senior management on Strategic goals and implementation
\n\tAudit, evaluate and direct sites to maintain company SHEQ standards
\n\tDo inspections on physical conditions of plant
\n\tIdentify and implement learning interventions to support SHEQ Management systems.
\n\tAssess and evaluate employee SHEQ competencies
\n\tUpdate training information on files and matrix
\n\tDo follow-up audits
\n\tCoordinate external training interventions Provide SHEQ advisory services to line management and employees
\n\tEstablish, implement and ensure compliance with ISO standards
\n\tDraft quality assurance policies and procedures
\n\tReport on site SHEQ performance
\n\tContractors\/Sub-contractors management
\n\tImplement SHEQ projects
\n\tInvestigate SHEQ incidents and ensure Implementation of corrective actions
\n\tReport of Incidents as per the DMPR requirements
\n\tCompile and distribute report to management
\n\tEnsure regular SHEQ committee meetings are held<\/p>\n
Stakeholder Management<\/p>\n
\tDirect and continues engagement with the client, building and sustaining relationships
\n\tBalancing internal organizational requirement with internal and external stakeholders requirements<\/p>\n
SHEQ Management<\/p>\n
\tEnsure sites SHEQ standards and procedures are aligned with client and legal requirements.
\n\tAssess sites SHEQ performance through formal `audits.
\n\tMonitor implementation of corrective actions and apply continues improvements
\n\tAssist in the roll out and monitor our Zero Harm Framework and FA Quality Framework in line with client requirements<\/p>\n

\tCreate a culture of high performance and maintain discipline in the site teams.
\n\tDemonstrating visible leadership in promoting company values, implementation of SHEQ company strategy within the division.

Requirements<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n
\tB.Tech or equivalent
\n\tSAMTRAC, NADSAM Diploma
\n\tWorking towards completion of National Diploma in Safety Management, 10 subjects as minimum completed L1. COMSOC 1 & 2 advantageous
\n\tTrade and \/ or Mine Overseer ticket advantageous<\/p>\n
EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\t3 years in SHEQ Management in Mining\/Construction.
\n\tExperience in HSEC online and Isometrix<\/p>\n
