Key Job Outputs:<\/p>\n
\tEnsures that the samples received agree to the Production Program and label copy\u00a0
\n\tEnsures the correct procedures are followed.
\n\tAll results are correctly calculated to determine acceptability
\n\tEnsures samples are taken at the correct process steps and released timeously
\n\tEnsures that the monthly water points are sampled and tested timeously
\n\tTests finished products using current pharmacopoeias\/SOP associated with \u2018wet\u2019 chemistry and instrumental techniques (HPLC, IR, UV, AA, FTIR, Flame photometer etc), as appropriate
\n\tInitiates an out of specification investigation form and reports failing results to the Supervisor. Manager during failures
\n\tEnsures that equipment is calibrated and validated before use by checking the calibration.
\n\tEnsure that samples after analysis are defaced and discarded in the waste area
\n\tDetermines whether results are acceptable and liaises with Supervisor \/ Manager to determine if resampling \/ retesting is required.
\n\tPerforms duties deemed necessary by Superior
\n\tAssists in the investigation of out of specification results
\n\tEnsures compliance to limits on the Analytical reports
\n\tTests customer complaint\u2019s as and when required<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Required Learning:<\/p>\n
\tBSc Degree or National Diploma in Chemistry
\n\t2 -3 years Lab experience in Pharmaceutical Industry
\n\tHPLC experience in Pharmaceuticals Quality Control Laboratory will be an advantage<\/p>\n
