About the Role<\/p>\n
\tThe Facilities and hospitality co-ordinator plays a versatile role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across the workplace. This individual will support the facilities team with administration, provide front-of-house reception cover, assist in the iStore coffee shop as a barista, and help coordinate functions and events. The ideal candidate is approachable, organized, and thrives in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Reception & Front-of-House<\/p>\n
\tGreet and assist visitors, staff, and suppliers in a professional and friendly manner.
\n\tAnswer and direct incoming calls and manage general reception duties.
\n\tMaintain a welcoming and tidy reception and communal area.
\n\tManage Meeting room bookings and availability<\/p>\n
Coffee Shop & Hospitality<\/p>\n
\tPrepare and serve beverages and light snacks as a barista in the iStore coffee shop.
\n\tEnsure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and customer service.
\n\tMonitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies.<\/p>\n
Events & Functions<\/p>\n
\tAssist with the planning, set-up, and smooth running of internal events, meetings, and staff functions.
\n\tProvide on-the-ground hospitality support during events.
\n\tCoordinate logistics such as catering, setup\/teardown, and equipment needs.<\/p>\n
Administration & Facilities Support<\/p>\n
\tProvide administrative support to the Facilities Manager and wider team.
\n\tAssist with scheduling, record keeping, and general office tasks.
\n\tHelp ensure facilities are well-maintained and operational.
\n\tSupport ad-hoc requests across different departments.<\/p>\n
Skills & Competencies<\/p>\n
\tStrong interpersonal and communication skills.
\n\tExcellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
\n\tCustomer service orientation and a friendly, professional manner.
\n\tFlexibility and willingness to take on varied tasks.
\n\tAbility to work independently as well as part of a team.<\/p>\n
Experience & Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tPrevious experience in a hospitality, reception, or facilities role.
\n\tBarista\/coffee shop experience an advantage.
\n\tBasic administrative skills (MS Office\/Google Workspace proficiency).
\n\tEvents support experience beneficial.<\/p>\n
Working hours<\/p>\n
\tRetail hours \u2013 5 days a week, including weekends and public<\/p>\n
