\tWe have an exciting opportunity for an Corporate Underwriting Administrator (Construction & Engineering) role available at Mirabilis based in Illovo.<\/p>\n
What will make you successful in this role?<\/p>\n
\tThe main purpose of the job is Policy Administration with reference to new business, endorsements, (provide terms on existing policies) finance queries and the dealing with Brokers and other departments.<\/p>\n
KEY FUNCTIONS:<\/p>\n
\tConversions of quotes into Policies
\n\tEndorsements
\n\tProvide terms on existing policies
\n\tUnderstand Insurance Principles and Business Retention on existing policies
\n\tDealing with other areas within Mirabilis\/ liaising with brokers.
\n\tManage \/ monitor incoming \/ outgoing mail
\n\tMust be able to adhere to deadlines and operating standard and requirements
\n\tAssist the administration team
\n\tAd hoc functions<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
\tMust have a minimum of 10 years of insurance experience within an underwriting capacity
\n\tPreferably 5 years of short-term engineering insurance experience
\n\tGood understanding of Policy Wordings
\n\tFirst Level Regulatory Examination
\n\tRelevant Degree \/ Diploma or study towards
\n\tComputer Literacy: Microsoft Office – proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook<\/p>\n
