Job Purpose<\/p>\n
\tThe Gaming Technical Shift Manager manages the day-to-day delivery of the gaming technical operation and team with the aim of ensuring gaming product availability and performance in line with Guest expectations; and aligned to Company Standards and Gaming Regulations.<\/p>\n
Key Performance Areas<\/p>\n
Shift management:<\/p>\n
\tManages the day to day operation in the gaming technical department\u00a0
\n\tManages the output task register
\n\tDuty allocations\/ Handovers \/ shift reports \/ dispute handling \/ floor walkabouts
\n\tReports gaming equipment anomalies and repairs to gaming management
\n\tQuality assures work orders
\n\tSchedules planned and preventative maintenance
\n\tVerifies and resolves escalated disputes and incidents
\n\tFollows up on progress of allocations and makes adjustments if required
\n\tLiaises with Internal and External customers\/ stakeholders<\/p>\n
Key bunch maintenance:<\/p>\n
\tKeys, IFS, and money declarations
\n\tAttends required meetings
\n\tKeeps departments \/ staff informed of information required to meet their needs<\/p>\n
Gaming Product:<\/p>\n
\tEvaluates gaming products
\n\tConducts walkabouts to check product condition
\n\tTechnical assessments
\n\tManage technical requirements of product moves
\n\tResearches products \/ keeps up to date with development
\n\tCompile and manage the delivery of the scheduled maintenance plan
\n\tTrains staff to use products efficiently
\n\tMonitors and reports on product availability \/ uptime
\n\tMaster file system maintenance<\/p>\n
Reporting and Administration:<\/p>\n
\tConsolidates, verifies and distributes Analytical Reports: (Including but not limited to)\u00a0
\n\tShift reports
\n\tMonth end Feedback reports
\n\tNote acceptor reports
\n\tCard acceptance reports
\n\tPower Supply voltage reports
\n\tSuspicious meter movement reports\u00a0
\n\tCard update failures
\n\tNetwork stats checks
\n\tPerformance reports
\n\tProgressive Reports
\n\tIFS Reports
\n\tCash Handling Equipment Reports
\n\tMakes recommendations to address shortfalls
\n\tCaptures relevant data
\n\tEnsures RGP information is displayed
\n\tProvides feedback to HO and Suppliers<\/p>\n
Compliance management:<\/p>\n
\tCustomise technical standards for the unit
\n\tCommunicates standards to all relevant parties
\n\tManages and audits Standard Operating Procedures
\n\tIdentifies new legislation changes, risks an opportunities to maintain the SOPS
\n\tStandards include ordering of locks and keys, game software, SAMS, shift control keys
\n\tMaster file system audits<\/p>\n
People supervision and Development:<\/p>\n
\tManage staff conditions of employment, e.g. attendance, absenteeism, leave, adherence to policies and procedures
\n\tManage productivities and payroll costs for the department
\n\tIdentification of employee training needs
\n\tPerform on the job training and coaching to close developmental gaps and build succession for a talent pipeline within the outlet
\n\tManage employee relations and disciplinary action within the department
\n\tEnsure staff communication and motivation
\n\tPerformance contracting, reviews and development
\n\tProvides resources and removes obstacles to performance
\n\tOnboarding of new staff members
\n\tGuides and coaches employees
\n\tParticipates in the recruitment and selection of new technicians into the department<\/p>\n
Customer Relationship Management:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tInvestigates and resolves customer disputes
\n\tPromotes customer service programmes
\n\tManages guest Interaction and Service
\n\tIdentifies and responds to customer feedback to improve the offering<\/p>\n
Financial Control:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tControls spend and product buying in line with budget
\n\tPrepares orders and follows up on progress
\n\tSources, checks and signs quotations
\n\tManages stock control processes and standards<\/p>\n
Supplier Relationship Manager:<\/p>\n
\tRegular communication and relationship building
\n\tManages Supplier SLA\u2019s
\n\tSelects and manages suppliers as per procurement policy\u00a0<\/p>\n

Education<\/p>\n
\tN6 National Electronic Certificate (light current) with relevant experience or S2 or National Electronic Diploma (light current) or Equivalent qualification\u00a0<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\tCertification\/Accreditation\/Registration\/Licences: Meet the criteria for a Key Gaming Licence and FICA
\n\tWork conditions and special requirements: Ability to work shifts that meet operational requirements and physically able to move and carry operating equipment in line with job requirements\u00a0<\/p>\n
