\n\tThe role will report to the the Plant Manager and will be based in Randfontein, Gauteng.
\n\tThe incumbent will be responsible for the management of the Rusks Production Department, including the people, products, raw material and quality. Producing a consistent quality product at minimum cost that meets the customer expectations.<\/p>\n

\nKnowledge \/ Experience and Education\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tCompleted Production related qualification
\n\tMin 5 years relevant experience in a FMCG food production environment
\n\tExperience in the management of an unionised workforce
\n\tWorking knowledge on MSOffice<\/p>\n

\n\tAble to function under pressure
\n\tMust pass annual medical examinations

Duties & Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tResponsible for the day to day management of the plant in terms of productivity, capacity, yields, quality and maintenance
\n\tManagement and training of production staff
\n\tStock control and quality of raws and finished product
\n\tManage and improve productivity and yields
\n\tOperate and control an effective planned preventative maintenance program
\n\tEnsuring compliance with legal requirements \u2013 OHS, HACCP, FSSC 2000
\n\tMaintain the food safety and safety systems in the plants
\n\tImplementation of policies and procedures to manage and maintain Foodcorp facilities and assets
\n\tQuality and safety assurance during and after completion of food production
\n\tBudget management\u00a0
\n\tPreparation of monthly reports
\n\tAttend monthly and weekly meetings with specific reference to health and safety, production and yields
\n\tEnsure that all production requirements are met in best man hourly per tonnage<\/p>\n
