Job Summary<\/p>\n
\tThis role involves promoting and selling vegetable products by developing customer-focused sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining strong client relationships.
\n\tThe Marketer (Vegetables) is responsible for providing product and crop advice, managing orders, resolving customer queries, and collaborating with the production team to ensure efficient service delivery while upholding the company\u2019s professional image.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities and Duties<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and implement customer sales strategies, including grading and segmentation of customers
\n\tIdentify and canvas new customers while maintaining regular communication with existing clients on new products, pricing, and specials
\n\tProvide product knowledge and crop advice, follow up on orders and customer history, and drive repeat sales
\n\tPromote products based on customer needs and build strong relationships through excellent service delivery and complaint resolution
\n\tCollaborate with the Vegetable Production Manager to ensure timely and accurate order execution
\n\tMaintain a positive image of the company and foster a professional, energetic working environment
\n\tStay updated with industry changes and share knowledge with the team<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Skills<\/p>\n
\tMatric \/ Grade 12
\n\tRelevant degree \/ qualification (advantageous)
\n\tMinimum 5 years\u2019 experience in the agriculture industry
\n\tStrong communication and interpersonal skills
\n\tProactive, customer-focused, and able to work independently
\n\tBilingual (Afrikaans and English)
\n\tValid Driver\u2019s License (Code 08)
\n\tWilling to travel<\/p>\n
