\nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
\tTo develop and follow up on leads in the civil industry. To identify possible clients and develop a relationship with these clients.<\/p>\n
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
\tGeneral sales of all SGS related products \u2013 must be knowledgeable of all SGS services and products
\n\tClient Satisfaction (meeting external and internal customer expectations in terms of service, quality and turnaround perspective).
\n\tActively participate \/adopt\/follow-up on sales leads
\n\tTimeous monthly reporting on<\/p>\n
a) client meetings
\nb) travel and marketing expenses
\nc) work successfully referred to commercial laboratories
\nd) Highlight any new developments and upcoming clients (contractors and consultants)<\/p>\n
\tOperate and market SGS with the utmost level of integrity
\n\tAccurate reporting on expenses and timeous submissions
\n\tMeeting all deadlines as set by management
\n\tMeeting targets as set by management.<\/p>\n
SPECIFIC AUTHORITIES<\/p>\n
\tTo promote and sell all SGS related products.
\n\tOperate to the highest standards of ethics, in accordance with the SGS Statement of Integrity Lead.

Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12
\n\t5 Years work experience in sales, preferably technical sales.
\n\tAny sales related training.
\n\tComputer skills: Microsoft software experience
\n\tDocument and report writing experience<\/p>\n
REQUIRED SKILLS<\/p>\n
\tOutstanding sales skills
\n\tOutstanding inter personal skills
\n\tEffective planning and organization
\n\tMust be physically willing and able to travel daily to sites and attend client meetings and must be able and willing to sleep out as and when required.
\n\tPrevious Civil Engineering Laboratory experience would be an advantage, specifically relating to Gravels, Aggregates, Concrete and Asphalt testing.
\n\tQuality Assurance (ISO 9001 or SANAS 17025) knowledge would be advantageous.<\/p>\n
