\tThe company wishes to employ a National Warehouse and Logistics Manager who will be responsible for the enhancement and management of the national warehouse, the company’s warehouse management system, oversee National Logistics and suppliers and the company\u2019s vehicle fleet and fuel cards.
\n\tThe successful candidate will be based in Johannesburg and report to the Operations Director\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Key responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tControl the flow of incoming and outgoing products to ensure customers receive products on time.
\n\tContain costs of all warehouse and logistics related issues
\n\tManagement of:
\n\tthe warehouse
\n\tinventory control
\n\tmaterial handling
\n\tcustomer service (Deliveries & Logistics)
\n\tcorporate fleet and fuels cards – management and investigation
\n\tOverseeing warehousing and logistics for all branches
\n\tExperience in Occupational Health and Safety
\n\tReporting on related budgets, expenses, progress of tasks etc.
\n\tAbove average organisational skills
\n\tExcellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English
\n\tSource and negotiate costs for local shipping suppliers
\n\tImprove the efficiency of the supply chain.<\/p>\n
Technical skills:<\/p>\n

\n\tFleet vehicle maintenance knowledge
\n\tWarehouse management systems
\n\tDeveloping, refining of processes and procedures

Requirements<\/p>\n
Qualification and requirements:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tRelevant BA Degree (NQF7 or higher)
\n\tIn current role for more than 3 years
\n\tWorked in a warehouse manager environment for more than 5 years
\n\tDemonstrate Leadership capabilities
\n\tKnowledge of transport\/fleet\/warehouse management
\n\tSouth African Citizen<\/p>\n
Skills required:<\/p>\n
\tACCPAC \/ SAGE 300 experience beneficial
\n\tGranite experience an advantage
\n\tTake responsibility for the safekeeping of stock under their care
\n\tAbility to work well under pressure \/ frequent interruptions
\n\tWillingness to take responsibility.
\n\tContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
\n\tSelf-motivated individual
\n\tAbility to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in English<\/p>\n
