The position will report to the Senior Manager Credit Support Kinto,the successful candidate will take full responsibility for the Credit Support, Credit Risk Management and Accounts Receivable Functions of KINTO South Africa. They will be responsible for leading, developing and managing credit aspects of the business, credit parameter setting, implementation & execution, credit management and review.To work with collecting banks, dunning and repossession agencies. To ensure compliance with all KINTO policies and procedures and Toyota Group policies and procedures as applicable.To ensure compliance with all legal and contractual obligations of KINTO.<\/p>\n
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:<\/p>\n
\tCustodian of KINTO SA Credit Policy and processes
\n\tEnsure policy and procedures are effected through the e-Toyota ONE, TransUnion credit vetting and Miles leasing systems
\n\tTo hold and exercise underwriting authority, responsible as the primary route for underwriting referrals, ensuring credit policy and parameters are strictly and correctly applied to ensure a consistent approach to credit underwriting decision-making.
\n\tFinancial analysis of customer financials in order to reach credit facility decision
\n\tLiaising with dealers and customers, as appropriate, displaying a customer first service focus in the resolution of disputes as necessary. This also extends to communication with KINTO SA field operations
\n\tManaging the Miles leasing system invoice and statement process
\n\tReport status of accounts receivable book weekly and monthly
\n\tManaging the manual and electronic collections process
\n\tManaging the outsourced dunning and legal services provider in terms of the service level agreement, maintaining daily contact and close collaboration
\n\tManage credit provisioning policy and calculations
\n\tDay to day management of the Credit Support Department staff and functions<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:<\/p>\n
\tNQF Level 7 – (360 credits) or relevant Business Degree qualification
\n\tPost Graduate Credit \/ Risk Management Diploma or other relevant qualification
\n\tCredit Management experience
\n\tRelevant work experience in the Leasing environment (minimum 4 years)
\n\tKnowledge of credit and financial services regulatory environment & requirements
\n\tPC literacy (MS Office \u2013 intermediate to advanced level)
\n\tProficient in SAP
\n\tET1 and Miles system knowledge will be an advantage<\/p>\n
