Primary Function:<\/p>\n
\tConduct planning, execution, and implementation of the Facilities Enhancement Unit\u2019s (FEU) capital (Capex) and operational expenditure (Opex) projects. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with regulations, and delivering projects on time and within scope.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Key Performance Areas:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tExecute the project planning process to inform the Section\u2019s operational planning processes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and efficient resource allocation;\u00a0
\n\tImplement process optimisation and efficiency initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall project performance;\u00a0
\n\tEnsure the effective execution of capital projects aimed at enhancing community facilities, delivering high-quality outcomes that meet stakeholder expectations;\u00a0
\n\tOversee the implementation of operational expenditure (Opex) projects contracted to external service providers, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery;\u00a0
\n\tProvide strong leadership and development for the project team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment;\u00a0
\n\tMonitor compliance with project quality standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring all projects adhere to established guidelines and best practice;\u00a0
\n\tManage and control assets and resources effectively, optimising their use to support project goals;\u00a0
\n\tImplement governance and risk management activities to mitigate potential issues and ensure project success;\u00a0
\n\tEnsure effective budget control for all project-related expenditures, maintaining financial discipline and accountability;\u00a0
\n\tExecute specific activities to ensure effective stakeholder relations and communication, fostering positive relationships and ensuring stakeholder needs are met;\u00a0
\n\tPerformance administrative task associated with the Capital Projects Section and individual performance, ensuring smooth operation ad compliance with organisational policies;
\n\tCompile comprehensive reports that provide insight into the performance of the Capital Projects Section, supporting informed decision-making and continuous improvement.<\/p>\n
