Take ownership of end-to-end customer journey management through all facilities and service touch points.<\/p>\n<p>Job Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Develop and direct strategic facilities management goals, develop forecasting plans to achieve strategic goals and identify facilities management trends and develop strategies to maximize the group&#8217;s competitiveness including:<\/p>\n<p>\tPut innovative strategies in place to optimise the performance and efficiency of the building (i.e. water saving initiatives &#8211; greening initiatives) and to ensure the delivery of high value-added recommendations.<br \/>\n\tIdentify and implement strategies to develop a work place environment that leads to increased staff productivity.<br \/>\n\tAccountable for the formulation of design standards with workplace bench marking and commercial requirements, direct engagement with the relevant business heads to develop and refine product types, and standardise for cost efficient execution at scale.<br \/>\n\tIdentify\/ develop solutions to maximise efficient facilities and space management solutions.<br \/>\n\tPlan and manage customers short-term and long-term facilities and space management needs.<br \/>\n\tEnsure compliance to statutory regulations, policies and procedures by conducting inspections, liaising with tenants to assist with non-compliance &#8211; Institute a process of workplace safety for staff and contractors.<br \/>\n\tEnsure that occupancy and vacancy levels are reported and managed effectively in order to minimize costs.<br \/>\n\tEnsure regular reporting to all stakeholders, including the analysis and metrics of deliverables to the following: board, executive, senior management, customers, etc.<br \/>\n\tManage relationships with service providers to ensure effective and efficient service delivery in a cost-effective manner and in line with good business practices.<br \/>\n\tProvide strategies to manage and reduce red flags that have been escalated in terms of utility bills.<br \/>\n\tEnsure procedures are in place to mitigate and manage risk, ensuring buildings are compliant to prescribed legislation and implement corrective action when required.<br \/>\n\tReview the service delivery model for FM services especially when contracts are being renewed.<br \/>\n\tReview and update to stay best in class in contracting and delivering FM services.<br \/>\n\tImprove on an ongoing basis the annual asset management plan for maintenance budgeting, programmed maintenance and capital projects including refurbishments.<\/p>\n<p>Financial Management<\/p>\n<p>\tCompile and manage the capital expenditure budget for facilities as well as track variances\/ savings &#8211; Conducts financial analyses to evaluate and recommend lease vs. purchase decisions.<br \/>\n\tCompletes any required forecasts, budget analyses and reports of activities.<br \/>\n\tAnalyze monthly performance and budget projections and compare it to annual management plan and budget, and adjust strategies accordingly.<br \/>\n\tDeveloping year on year business plans to achieve savings targets and working closely with the finance team to produce monthly financial status reports and future forecasts.<br \/>\n\tManage the overall maintenance budget.<br \/>\n\tResponsible and accountable for effective management and development of the Facilities Management Team.<\/p>\n<p>Core Competencies<\/p>\n<p>Functional Knowledge<\/p>\n<p>\tUnderstanding of CAFM systems;
