Resource Officer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The purpose of the role is to assist the HR Manager by providing generalist human resources services and advice to the Shared Services and AVI International business units<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Key Areas of Impact:<\/p>\n<p>HR Administration, Data Management and Reporting<\/p>\n<p>\tResponsible for all administration related to employee life cycle including new engagements, benefits, employee changes, leave analysis, terminations, etc<br \/>\n\tCommunicate and create understanding of all payroll processing, HR policies and procedures to employees.<br \/>\n\tPrepare line managers and coordinate the annual processes and performance management.<br \/>\n\tPrepare monthly business unit HR update reports as well as quarterly review reports.<br \/>\n\tAttend to General requests queries from internal and external customers<br \/>\n\tFollow up on all referred queries &amp; complaints to ensure that they dealt with and followed through<br \/>\n\tCheck that all HR documentation has been received, kept confidential and information is up to date in a safe and a secure environment<br \/>\n\tProvide all parties timelessly with the relevant and accurate HR documentation<br \/>\n\tUpdate organograms and staff sites on a monthly basis<\/p>\n<p>Recruitment, Selection and Onboarding<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure proper approval prior to commencing recruitment through the acquisition process on SAP<br \/>\n\tAdvise line managers to complete accurate job profiles, advertisement, package parameters and any other relevant documentation<br \/>\n\tEnsure that the recruitment process is followed from start to end in order to recruit effectively and reduce turnover (the right person for the job) through accurate job descriptions assessments checks and targeted selection<br \/>\n\tConducting of interviews with line managers and discuss the long and the short lists with line managers and recruitment and interview applicants together with the line managers<br \/>\n\tPropose options to the HR manager regarding recommended starting salary based on internal and market comparisons advise recruitment of successful applicants and complete the necessary engagement documents<\/p>\n<p>Performance management<\/p>\n<p>\tProvide parties timelessly with the relevant and accurate HR documentation with regards to performance management and appraisals (including system for ITSS)<br \/>\n\tFacilitate and ensure a thorough understanding of the performance management system by the stakeholders<br \/>\n\tProvide guidelines on managing employment performance to monitor progress and promote development of employees through appropriate performance management system<br \/>\n\tEnsure performance contracts and reviews completed by due dates<br \/>\n\tCapture all performance ratings on SAP follow up with outstanding IPA&#8217;s and ensure all IPA&#8217;s are received in time for the annual increment process<br \/>\n\tExtract the annual increment schedules for review with HR manager and sent for management review<br \/>\n\tTrack training initiatives against development plans received and provide feedback to HR manager<\/p>\n<p>HR information system administration<\/p>\n<p>\tConduct integrity check of master data to ensure all data is complete and accurate<br \/>\n\tConduct quarterly review of the HR systems access in relation to roles and responsibility of individual users across ESS and MSS, etc<br \/>\n\tFollow the workflow process designed by loading all relevant data to ensure the next step in the cycle can be completed on the system and obtains outstanding information where these are identified<br \/>\n\tAddress all general HR information system information queries received from management and employees<br \/>\n\tCoordinate the data for the annual headcount and budget and annual increase exercises, line manager access checks reporting lines etc<br \/>\n\tProvide assistance and support to line managers with using SAP<\/p>\n<p>Employee assistance programs and Wellness administration<\/p>\n<p>\tCoordination and administration around the employee Wellness plan including the ongoing communication of the Lyra offerings<br \/>\n\tProvide input and suggestions to the HR manager when setting up the employee Wellness plan including the ongoing communication of the Lyra offerings<br \/>\n\tOversee and manage the annual Wellness and staff events<br \/>\n\tProvide all parties timeously with the relevant and accurate HR documentation around Wellness programs<br \/>\n\tMonitor compliance with health and safety legislation<\/p>\n<p>Talent management, Learning and development<\/p>\n<p>\tSupport the HR manager in delivering talent management output<br \/>\n\tTrack and submit all business units training initiatives to learning and development<br \/>\n\tCollect all information for the submission of the workplace skills plan and annual training report as well as employment equity plans while liaising with line managers and executives<br \/>\n\tCoordinate and track all educational assistance for accurate supporting docs and SAP upload<br \/>\n\tFacilitate the identification of learning needs and areas of development and arrange necessary training where needed<br \/>\n\tCheck and coordinate graduates programs and learnerships serve as a point of contact and provide required employee information for the management information pack for BBBEE<\/p>\n<p>Industrial relations<\/p>\n<p>\tProvides IR advice to line managers to ensure thorough understanding of IR policies and offences guideline<br \/>\n\tEnsures effective relationships and communication between the company and other relevant parties<br \/>\n\tArrange training sessions for line managers where applicable to ensure a thorough understanding of IR policies, set up internal and attend disciplinary hearings, appeals and attend grievance meetings and take minutes\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>What It Takes to Succeed:<\/p>\n<p>Experience that set you up for success: \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tAt least
