\tWe are seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager to lead and manage the end-to-end payroll and employee benefits function, including remuneration, reward and benchmarking, compliance, and policy implementation. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate, efficient, and compliant HR and payroll processes across the organisation.<\/p>\n
Overview & Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
The HR Payroll Manager will report directly to the General Manager: Human Resources and will lead the payroll team of two individuals. \u00a0Below are some of the key areas of responsibility for this role include but are not limited to:<\/p>\n
\tManage end-to-end payroll for salaried and hourly employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and statutory compliance (UIF, EMP201, provident fund, medical aid, etc.).
\n\tOversee employee benefits administration, including provident fund, medical aid, leave, and other claims.
\n\tLead remuneration and incentive processes, including annual salary increases, performance incentives, and variable pay schemes.
\n\tManage the company\u2019s grading system, job evaluations, and market benchmarking.
\n\tLead and develop the payroll team to ensure operational excellence.
\n\tEnsure compliance with labour laws, POPIA, COIDA, and HR audits.<\/p>\n
Essential Requirements<\/p>\n
\tMinimum Degree in Human Resources and\/or Payroll Diploma.
\n\tGRP certification is advantageous.
\n\tA minimum of 5\u201310 years\u2019 experience in HR and payroll in a medium-sized organisation, with at least 5 years in a management capacity.
\n\tExtensive knowledge of payroll systems, preferably Sage People 300.
\n\tProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
\n\tStrong report writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
\n\tExperience leading teams and working with all levels of management.<\/p>\n
