WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE:<\/p>\n
Safety<\/p>\n
\tAdheres to Company emergency procedures, safety rules and regulations and eliminates potential SHE hazards in work area.
\n\tPerforms behavioral safety observations and corrects unsafe behaviour.<\/p>\n
Workplace hazards<\/p>\n
\tReduce costs due to waste and minimize impact to health, safety and the environment through working to eliminate waste and through the correct management of waste and hazardous materials.
\n\tMust actively contribute to an eco-efficient environment.<\/p>\n
Operational Activities<\/p>\n
\tStart up\/ shut down procedures
\n\tPerforms pre-start checks, start-up, and shutdown of machinery according to SOPs.<\/p>\n
Operations<\/p>\n
\tOperates, maintains, and adjusts machinery according to SOPs.
\n\tMonitors and records waste and rework.
\n\tSupports operators during start-ups and abnormal conditions.<\/p>\n
Performs size and variant changeovers.<\/p>\n
\tProvides break relief to ensure continuous production.
\n\tConducts Autonomous Maintenance tasks up to AM Step 7.
\n\tMakes minor adjustments as part of AM Step 5 activities.
\n\tInspects the line regularly, resolving or escalating issues.
\n\tEnsures proper handover with incoming operators.<\/p>\n
Material Handling<\/p>\n
\tMonitors material levels and communicates shortages when the Line Operator is unavailable.
\n\tRetrieves materials from storage when levels are low and alerts relevant personnel if stock is unavailable.<\/p>\n
Quality<\/p>\n
\tPerforms visual quality checks on materials and products, and takes action when standards are not met.
\n\tMaintains hourly traceability records.
\n\tLogs and resolves issues using EWO and implements corrective actions.
\n\tConducts all required HACCP quality checks.<\/p>\n
Administration<\/p>\n
\tAssists with PAMCO recording when needed.
\n\tLogs equipment stoppages and breakdowns for troubleshooting and handovers.
\n\tConducts hourly plant checks and completes log sheets.
\n\tPerforms WCM activities and records M1\/M4 tags in SAP.
\n\tSupports Line Operator in updating WCM boards.<\/p>\n
Engineering<\/p>\n
\tPerforms scheduled autonomous maintenance and minor repairs (e.g. replacing belts, hoses, knives).
\n\tAssists artisans during major breakdowns by following instructions and supporting repair work.<\/p>\n
Continous Improvement<\/p>\n
\tUses performance metrics to identify and prioritize production losses.
\n\tMonitors line issues and clearly reports problems<\/p>\n
Problem Solving<\/p>\n
\tSupports Engineering in identifying root causes using structured problem-solving tools.
\n\tLeads quick improvement projects (e.g. Kaizens) on the line.
\n\tInitiates first-level problem solving (5 Whys) and proposes improvements; escalates complex issues to the Team Leader.<\/p>\n
Leadership and Relationships<\/p>\n
\tPerforms line changeovers.
\n\tMaintains good working relationships with cross-functional teams.
\n\tProactively escalates issues to Line Operator, Shift Coordinator, or support teams as per procedure.<\/p>\n
Physically Ability<\/p>\n
\tRequires agility to move between workstations and carry loads.
\n\tNeeds good hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity for assembly and control tasks.
\n\tAdequate sight and smell are essential for monitoring and quality checks.<\/p>\n
