Job Description<\/p>\n
\tThe incumbent would fabricate, install and repair items made from metal sheets, by cutting and joining metal sheets to create specific components and products. The installation of metal ductwork, diagnose and repair issues with existing sheet metal installations, ensuring all work meets required standards and specifications. He would control and direct the activities of subordinates and external contractors to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all services for production, including preventative maintenance, safety requirements, breakdowns and productivity savings initiatives.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12, preferably with Maths and Science
\n\tQualified Sheet Metal Worker
\n\tAt least 3-5 years hands-on experience in a FMCG environment
\n\tGood understanding of mill equipment
\n\tExposure to food safety audits<\/p>\n
Knowledge<\/p>\n
\tGood understanding of LRA, OHS Act and Food Safety<\/p>\n
Skills<\/p>\n
\tGood planning and organisational skills
\n\tFluent in English (Read, write, speak)
\n\tGood computer literacy especially Microsoft Office
\n\tGood people management skills<\/p>\n
