Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tA Master\u2019s degree in Chemical Engineering and studying towards a PhD.
\n\tA Degree in Chemical Engineering (e.g BTech, BEng, BScEng, Advanced Diploma, National Diploma).
\n\tAt least 3 years of teaching experience \/ professional experience.
\n\tGood communication and lecturing skills.
\n\tA strong passion for teaching and research.
\n\tRegistrable as a professional engineer or engineering technologist with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).<\/p>\n
\u00a0Summary of Duties:<\/p>\n
\tTeach Chemical Engineering subjects at both undergraduate and post-graduate levels.
\n\tSupervision of postgraduate projects and postgraduate students.\u00a0
\n\tDevelopment of learning material for different courses.
\n\tActively involved in research and research activities.
\n\tActive participation in industrial projects
\n\tKnowledge of online learning software, g. Moodle, Blackboard, Teams.
\n\tParticipation in community engagement projects
\n\tAssist with administrative duties as delegated.\u00a0
\n\tAny other duties as prescribed by the Head of Department.
\n\tRegistered or qualifies for registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).<\/p>\n
