{"id":17781,"date":"2025-08-29T12:02:42","date_gmt":"2025-08-29T12:02:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/outbound-telesales-consultant-meridian-wine-merchants-gauteng-learnership-programme-managed-people-solutions-mokgwathi-limpopo\/"},"modified":"2025-11-30T00:25:04","modified_gmt":"2025-11-30T00:25:04","slug":"outbound-telesales-consultant-meridian-wine-merchants-gauteng-learnership-programme-managed-people-solutions-mokgwathi-limpopo","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/?post_type=job_listing&p=17781","title":{"rendered":"Outbound Telesales Consultant | Meridian Wine Merchants | Gauteng \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Learnership Programme | Managed People Solutions | Mokgwathi | Limpopo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Job Description<\/p>\n<p>\tMeridian Wine Merchants\u00a0is seeking a dynamic\u00a0Outbound Telesales Consultant,\u00a0based in\u00a0Gauteng.\u00a0This exciting opportunity offers the chance to represent premium wine and liquor brands while working in a hybrid environment as part of a passionate, growing team.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibility includes:<\/p>\n<p>\tNew product introduction and upliftment procedure to be carried out as per SOP.<br \/>\n\tEffective planning of the call cycle as per contact and coverage SOP.<br \/>\n\tCalling customers in accordance with the agreed call cycle.<br \/>\n\tAssisting new customers in opening new accounts as per SOP on new accounts.<br \/>\n\tRecording and promptly acting upon customers\u2019 complaints, queries and requests and feedback accordingly as per Communication SOP and contact grid.<br \/>\n\tActively building relationships with customers by identifying new growth opportunities in the wine category and adding personal touches (e.g. send complimentary bottle of wine on customer\u2019s birthday) as per SOP.<br \/>\n\tIdentify and execute promotional opportunities\/requirements as per the customers\u2019 needs and promotional SOP.<br \/>\n\tGain knowledge on various products and processes to carry out a strategic negotiation with customers.<br \/>\n\tUnderstand your personal sales target by customer and brand and deliver the result.<br \/>\n\tUnderstand how personal sales commission \/ incentive are calculated.<br \/>\n\tGrow and maintain the customer base to achieve the sales target.<br \/>\n\tGrow listings on redistributor wine lists.<br \/>\n\tDevelop a plan to close the sales gap by compiling a monthly Sales Report and submit this report as per SOP.<br \/>\n\tLog all calls and capture interaction with customers on the laptop as per SOP and RSM requirements.<br \/>\n\tCollect customer information as per Salesforce Contacts Report.<br \/>\n\tSubmit trade program &amp;
