\tInvestec is looking for a Team Lead who will be responsible for managing the development, maintenance, and support of information technology solutions, that are required to meet the current and future technological needs of the business. The role is primarily focused on looking after the Investec Digital Onboarding team.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tDrive the architectural roadmap and application lifecycle management for the set of applications in your portfolio
\n\tRefine and decouple application capabilities aligned with group Technical Functional Capabilities, including roadmap for the future state of those capabilities in line with the business strategy
\n\tLead, mentor, coach and grow a high-performing team of developers, testers, support analysts and business analysts in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
\n\tEnd to end accountability for all aspects of the application lifecycle, target architecture, solution design, build and operations (includes support and maintenance) of the applications in the portfolio
\n\tInstill a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and quality in the team
\n\tEnsure that the architectural roadmap aligns with the broader Investec technical strategies and ownership of the Client Tech capability roadmap
\n\tBuild trusted relationships with the Client Tech leadership, tech partners, business partners and stakeholders
\n\tResponsible for the management of all vendors providing applications \/ services to this portfolio
\n\tResponsible for end-to-end delivery of initiatives
\n\tOverall cost management of the applications and vendor commercials including the creating and maintain of budgets
\n\tResponsible to ensure that capacity planning is adequately allocated
\n\tResponsible for the end-to-end procurement of new off-the-shelf products into Investec where necessary
\n\tResponsible for the delivery and the leading of a high-performing team which includes performance management<\/p>\n
Experience, skills and capability<\/p>\n
\tIT Degree or Diploma
\n\tA self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit
\n\t7+ years of experience in the IT field
\n\t2+ years of experience leading a team
\n\tA natural communicator who can engage with both engineers and business partners
\n\tStrong stakeholder and vendor management
\n\t2 years or more experience in a similar role with an in-depth understanding of the IT SDLC life cycle and project methodologies
\n\tTechnical experience and familiarity with web and app development and technologies such as DotNet, Kubernetes, Angular, GitLab, Microsoft Azure, Dynatrace etc.<\/p>\n
