POSITION PURPOSE<\/p>\n
\tResponsible for developing and analyzing features, functions, and sections of software systems. Writes code for assigned sections, checks functionality, and ensures that programming is easy to read and understand.
\n\tSupports team members and ensures that established deadlines are met. Keeps management well informed of area activities and of any significant problems. Incumbent handles more complex coding functions.<\/p>\n
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES<\/p>\n
\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200bAssumes responsibility for the effective performance of assigned programming functions.<\/p>\n
\tDevelops assigned features and sections of the Broll Tech systems. Designs code to be easy to read and adjust, and reuseable in future systems.
\n\tChecks functionality of programming code with Senior Analyst Programmers and ensures that assigned sections are completely bug free.
\n\tEnsures that all code work is properly documented. Draws up functional specifications where applicable.
\n\tMakes suggestions to increase efficiency in project development and to ensure that deadlines are met.
\n\tProvides support and training to end-users where applicable.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining professional working relationships with customers, suppliers, and outside contacts.<\/p>\n
\tTracks and resolves problems promptly and effectively.
\n\tObtains and conveys information as needed.
\n\tPromotes goodwill and a positive image of the Company.<\/p>\n

\tCooperates with Project Team in integrating sections of the system. Provides support and assistance to team members.
\n\tAssists other Programmers as needed.
\n\tKeeps management well informed of area activities and of any significant problems.
\n\tCompletes assigned documentation accurately and timely.
\n\tAttends meetings as required.<\/p>\n
Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.<\/p>\n
\tEnsures that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.
\n\tPerforms miscellaneous projects as assigned.
\n\tUpdates technical skills as required.<\/p>\n

\tAssociate\u2019s degree in computer science or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.<\/p>\n
\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200bREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:<\/p>\n
\tKnowledge of software applications and relational database systems.
\n\tUnderstanding of related programming languages and development platforms.<\/p>\n
\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200bEXPERIENCE REQUIRED:<\/p>\n
\tTwo or more years of related programming experience.<\/p>\n
\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200bSKILLS\/ABILITIES:<\/p>\n
\tSolid organisational skills and attention to detail.
\n\tGood interpersonal skills.
\n\tStrong project management abilities.
