An exciting opportunity exists for a Food Safety Specialist at NATIONAL BRANDS LIMITED Isando, Coffee and Creamer Factory. \u00a0The successful incumbent will report to the Quality Manager and will focus on maintaining Food Safety and related activities to secure consumer safety. \u00a0

Key Performance Areas:<\/p>\n
\tTo ensure that the highest quality and food safe products are produced through management of GMP audits, deep cleaning schedules and processes, fumigation schedules and practises, ensuring the highest cleaning and pest control standards
\n\tTo manage the cleaning, sanitation, hygiene and pest control contracts effectively.
\n\tTo manage product safety and quality through AIB, FSSC 22000 and HACCP systems, ensuring site compliance.
\n\tTo manage the Allergen Control Program for the site
\n\tTo manage and improve the site\u2019s HACCP Program.
\n\tConduct Food Safety Training and Inductions for site personnel
\n\tTo Manage the site\u2019s micro environmental monitoring programme<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
Experience: \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tIdeally 5 years\u2019 experience in the food industry in quality assurance and food safety.<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tNational Diploma\/ Degree in Food Technology or equivalent qualification essential
\n\tCertification in FSSC 22000; AIB and Auditing would be advantageous<\/p>\n
Additional Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tLead Auditor certification
\n\tAbility to train and coach people
\n\tAnalytical\/investigative nature
\n\tAudit and compliance knowledge
\n\tAIB and FSSC 22000 standards
\n\tPest control prevention and GMP\u2019s<\/p>\n
