The Supervisor : Investigator will fulfil the role of\u00a0investigating all internal and external policy\/procedural breaches and unlawful matters relating to South Deep Mine<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 or qualification\u00a0
\n\tHave a Grade \u201cA\u201d certificate in security, registered with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA)
\n\tFraud investigations certificate or diploma
\n\t5-10 years\u2019 experience as a fraud investigator in a specialised investigation unit, of which 5 years should have preferably been in the mining and\/or corporate environment
\n\tWorking knowledge of South African Police Services as well as the judicial process
\n\tValid driver\u2019s license
\n\tBe declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk-based medical examination at the Gold Fields Occupational Health Centre and pass a Heat Tolerance Screening test, and such other tests as may be required to assess the applicant\u2019s suitability for employment<\/p>\n

Duties and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tEnsure health and safety of self and team members by applying relevant standards and procedures in all relevant activities
\n\tContribute to a culture of zero harm by adhering to all requirements as laid down by legislation, health, safety, environmental, security policies, and procedures, and by the application of specific instructions to own work area and task completion
\n\tBuild and maintain an information network
\n\tCollect and process both overt and covert information and guide operational strategies accordingly
\n\tProvide information-based insights to Protection Services management for fraud risk mitigation
\n\tConduct internal and externally assisted investigations
\n\tDevelop innovative fraud investigation techniques
\n\tFurnish monthly fraud investigation and intelligence reports for Protection Services\u00a0<\/p>\n
