Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tPlanning and preparing for training sessions by preparing training material and ensuring that all the equipment is safe and functional.
\n\tTo present training material at the appropriate level in relation to audience’s existing skills, knowledge and considering any potential learning barriers presented by language, cultural, socio-economic and other factors by using the most appropriate training methods.
\n\tTo facilitate training in accordance with SAQA\/SETA\/NOSA requirements and Quality Management Systems.
\n\tTo moderate and assess learners in accordance with the SETA\/NOSA code of conduct.
\n\tTo provide confidential assessment feedback to learners in accordance with the SETA\/NOSA Quality Management System requirements.
\n\tTo complete all Portfolios of Evidence in accordance with the relevant assessment guides and Quality Management System work instructions, and to ensure the security and confidentiality thereof.
\n\tTo market NOSA by answering client queries, identifying and utilising marketing opportunities during the presentation of training.
\n\tTo engage in continuous self-development activities such as seminars, or other relevant training courses, in order to keep up-to-date with NOSA products, safety, health, environment and ETD best practices.
\n\tTo ensure personal responsibility for assessor\/moderator registrations with all relevant SETA\u2019s are current and valid, and ensure Training Manager receives copies of these.

Requirements<\/p>\n
\tMatric (Grade 12).
\n\tETDP-registered Facilitator, Assessor, and Moderator.
\n\tMinimum of 3 years\u2019 industry experience in fall protection and working at heights.<\/p>\n
Registered with the Services SETA as an assessor and moderator for the following unit standards:<\/p>\n
\tExplain and perform fall arrest techniques when working at height.
\n\tAssess a worksite for work at height and prepare a fall protection plan.
\n\tInstall, use and perform basic rescues from fall arrest systems and implement the fall protection plan.
\n\tUS229999: Perform a range of advanced fall arrest rescues.
\n\tRegistration and designations with the Institute for Working at Height will be an added advantage.
\n\tSound knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, applicable regulations, and quality management systems (QMS).
\n\tValid driver\u2019s licence and own reliable vehicle.
\n\tFluent in English and at least one other official South African language.<\/p>\n
