Job Description<\/p>\n
\tConduct Safety checks, process pre-start-ups, conduct daily routine inspection
\n\tOperate the plant through PLC and correct deviations accordingly
\n\tEnsure that the handover log sheets is completed accurately.
\n\tPerform analysis on plant water samples as required and report if any deviations.
\n\tCarry out visual inspection, screening, weighing, recording and analysing results from specifications
\n\tEnsure accurate production data is captured in the system
\n\tBasic knowledge of operational machinery
\n\tComply with governance and compliance policies and procedures, work within established policies, systems, procedures, processes and practices
\n\tComply with Safety, Health and Environment standards
\n\tEnsure safety and health, sustainability and quality standards are maintained.
\n\tPreform first line maintenance, carry out Visual checks on plant and equipment.
\n\tRecords data, such as Process Inputs and Process Outputs
\n\tOperation of dosing stations and chemical supply
\n\tEnsure effective shut down and start-up of RO plant.
\n\tMaintain good housekeeping standards on the plant.
\n\tCorrect storage of equipment and chemical stock.
\n\tContinuously evaluate plant operations for improvement opportunities
\n\tDo CIP on equipment as required to ensure plant efficiency.
\n\tManage chemical stock level and accurate monitoring of consumption.
\n\tBe prepared to work overtime or respond to call-outs if and when required
\n\tPreform first line maintenance.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
\tA minimum qualification of Grade 12\/Matric
\n\tExperience in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage
\n\tAbility to concentrate for long periods during repetitive work
\n\tAbility to act quickly when problems arise
\n\tShift work required<\/p>\n
