They will support the FinOps International Business team across African Opcos.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tInteraction with Shared Service centres, Corporate Services, Group Financial processes, local markets leadership teams, Internal and External Audit will be essential.<\/p>\n<p>Your responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n<p>Financial Reporting Assurance\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tLeadership in risk management, internal controls and operational efficiency in Source to Pay, Payroll, T&amp;E, and Intercompany.<br \/>\n\tStrategic oversight, cross function collaboration, and continuous improvement on assurance frameworks.<br \/>\n\tDrive adherence to IFRS and Vodacom accounting standards.<br \/>\n\tIdentify, assess and mitigate financials risk by ensuring accuracy and integrity of the balance sheet through meticulous reconciliation and verification<br \/>\n\tEffectively drive action plans on aged\/ unidentified balances with account owners\/ head of finance<br \/>\n\tDevelop process compliance frameworks: Follow up on identified control and audit risks as well as review and propose changes to relevant policies to reflect Vodafone Way principles and tax, legal statutory requirements. Deliver control review activities in accordance with SOX regulations and Vodafone Group policies.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tDevelop and implement risk mitigation strategies, including process improvements, internal control enhancements, and reporting procedures.<br \/>\n\tMonitor and report on the effectiveness of risk mitigation measures, adjusting as needed.<br \/>\n\tCoordinate with internal auditors, SOX, Group Risk, ensuring smooth and efficient audits and timely resolution of audit findings.<br \/>\n\tDrive the implementation of changes required due to regulations.<\/p>\n<p>Manage the execution of strategic projects:<\/p>\n<p>\tLead the prioritisation and implementation projects<br \/>\n\tEffectively manage Strategic projects, ensuring stakeholder buy-in and minimal disruption.<br \/>\n\tDevelop and implement communication plans to keep stakeholders informed of progress and anticipated outcomes.<br \/>\n\tDrive the business case development and return on investment.<\/p>\n<p>Performance Management and Reporting:<\/p>\n<p>\tEnhance financial reporting processes to provide real time insights.<br \/>\n\tDrive data-driven decision making is embedded in financial operations.<br \/>\n\tRegularly monitor and report on performance against KPIs, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.<br \/>\n\tAnalyse data to identify trends and opportunities for service optimisation.<br \/>\n\tChampion a data-driven culture within the finance department by promoting the use of data analytics tools and insights.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tDevelop and implement dashboards and reporting systems that provide real-time financial visibility and support informed decision-making.<br \/>\n\tPartner with data analysts to extract valuable insights from financial data to drive strategic initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>Stakeholder Management:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tBuild strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation, fostering a deep understanding of their needs and expectations.<br \/>\n\tCollaborate with stakeholders identify and drive the development of solutions that would cater to their business needs.<br \/>\n\tEffectively communicate the value and impact of service delivery initiatives.<br \/>\n\tProactively address stakeholder concerns and ensure their satisfaction with service quality.<\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate for this role will have:<\/p>\n<p>\tAccounting or related degree (Essential)<br \/>\n\tSAP certification (Desirable)\u00a0<br \/>\n\tMinimum of 10+ years relevant experience in a finance environment (Essential)<br \/>\n\tPerformance Management and Reporting (e.g. based on identified KPIs) experience<br \/>\n\tWorking across multinational<\/p>\n<p>Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:<\/p>\n<p>\tSAP ERP knowledge<br \/>\n\tProject Planning<br \/>\n\tSystem implementation experience<br \/>\n\tExcellent facilitation skills<br \/>\n\tCommunication \u2013 written or oral (the ability to speak and write in a clear, concise and\u00a0fluent manner to both individuals and groups)<br \/>\n\tPlanning\u00a0<br \/>\n\tChange management<br \/>\n\tAptitude for fostering positive relationships<br \/>\n\tProblem solving<br \/>\n\tTeamwork<br \/>\n\tThe ability to explain complex information clearly and simply<br \/>\n\tOperational excellence and attention to detail<br \/>\n\tAbility to adapt quickly in a new environment and work on multiple systems\/platforms<br \/>\n\tAbility to communicate financial information with non-finance employees<br \/>\n\tAbility to effectively communicate across all levels<br \/>\n\tKnowledge of Finance Operations in a Shared Service centre, supporting multiple companies and countries.<br \/>\n\tKnowledge of Key performance indicators used within the organisation to drive business decisions<br \/>\n\tSOX &amp;
