A rewarding opportunity awaits a skilled Senior Project Manager: SAP, Infrastructure and Software Development at AVI IT Shared Services Division in Cape Town at our Waterfront Office or in Johannesburg at our Bryanston office. Your role will be to oversee multiple strategic\/non-strategic projects. Ensure that projects are delivered on time and within specification according to the ITSS project management methodology.<\/p>\n

\tReports to: Senior Manager Project Management Office

Project Delivery<\/p>\n
\tProjects are delivered within agreed scope and project milestones completed on time with sign off
\n\tComplete project within allocated budget and\/or hours
\n\tEffective management of project teams
\n\tEffective and pro-active risk and issue management<\/p>\n
Project Governance<\/p>\n
\tComplete PMO report
\n\tEnsure AVI PMO lifecycle is adhered to
\n\tChange control enforced for all projects
\n\tQuality of project documentation<\/p>\n
Project Communication<\/p>\n
\tStakeholders informed of project progress, issues and risks
\n\tEnsure consistent stakeholder satisfaction
\n\tRelevant Project Advisories distributed where applicable<\/p>\n
Project Teamwork<\/p>\n
\tActively participate in team discussion and share knowledge with the team<\/p>\n
What It Takes to Succeed:<\/p>\n
Experience that set you up for success:<\/p>\n
\t7 – 10 years\u2019 experience in SAP, Infrastructure or Software Development Project management
\n\tExperience in completing 5 – 8 full project cycles (from project preparation to implementation IT Infrastructure\/Application experience)\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Certifications that will contribute to your success:<\/p>\n
\tMatric\/Grade 12
\n\tDiploma or Degree in Project Management
\n\tPMBOK and\/or Agile qualification
\n\tPMP and\/or ACP Advantageous<\/p>\n
