PURPOSE<\/p>\n
\tThe main purpose of the role is to provide financial analysis, support and guidance for long term strategy formation and key projects, to improve the accuracy of financial data and systems, and also support and monitor performance of the business, generate in-depth analysis, insight and challenge to
\n\tsupport the business planning.<\/p>\n

Your key responsibilities include:<\/p>\n
Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting<\/p>\n
\tProvide input into BU budgets, ensuring cost awareness and control; report on revenue, costs, and volumes
\n\tAnalyse financial operations and contribute to forecasting and budgeting (opex, capex, revenue, and product volumes)
\n\tForecast revenue and expenditure across cost centres through financial modelling
\n\tPrepare, analyse, and report on monthly operational spend, budget, income, expenses, and cashflow
\n\tContribute to scenario planning and long-term strategic planning
\n\tReview and submit financial reports for the Head: FP&A and CFO to support decision-making
\n\tMonitor and manage expenses within established budgets
\n\tDevelop and monitor operational initiatives aimed at achieving financial goals
\n\tStay abreast of financial management trends, legislation, and industry best practices to optimise performance<\/p>\n
Financial Performance & Profitability Analysis<\/p>\n
\tProvide input into development of KPIs and performance measures (operations, products\/channels, markets, margins, etc.)
\n\tCreate profit and loss statements for each channel to assess standalone product\/channel performance
\n\tOversee forecasting, planning, and reporting for all channels, and provide insight-driven reports
\n\tConduct root cause analysis on underperformance and challenge outcomes to drive improvements
\n\tProvide ongoing product\/channel analysis to inform management decisions (scaling, decommissioning, etc.)
\n\tPrepare reports on operational performance and detailed reports on specific projects<\/p>\n
Cost Management & Cost Allocation<\/p>\n
\tIdentify, agree on, and implement cost allocation methods across the group
\n\tReport allocation results and refine business logic for improved cost practices
\n\tMaintain and update cost-efficiency plans, reducing key cost drivers
\n\tProvide early warnings of material deviations and propose corrective actions<\/p>\n
Pricing & Revenue Support<\/p>\n
\tContribute to pricing strategy, tariffs, and product\/channel policy decisions
\n\tUnderstand pricing structures and customer purchasing patterns across the portfolio
\n\tConduct profitability analysis and report on actual product\/channel performance<\/p>\n
Strategic Decision Support<\/p>\n
\tConduct post-implementation reviews of products\/channels to identify trends and key learnings
\n\tPerform sensitivity analysis to evaluate financial impact and support improved decisions
\n\tCollaborate with departments and managers to support financial and operational decision-making<\/p>\n
Project & Investment Support<\/p>\n
\tManage and control project and programme costs
\n\tDeliver client- or company-specific projects in line with business standards
\n\tDevelop business cases, models, and financial frameworks to support investment approval
\n\tAnalyse CAPEX and investment opportunities against risk, returns, and strategic alignment
\n\tEnsure quality, consistency, and governance in financial modelling and business case development
\n\tContribute to defining performance indicators and evaluation criteria for key decisions
\n\tDrive compliance with governance protocols for business cases and modelling<\/p>\n
Controls, Delegation & Transaction Oversight<\/p>\n
\tApprove accounting transactions and reconciliations in line with policy
\n\tEnsure all documentation is authorised according to delegation levels and accurately coded
\n\tSupport sound financial processes aligned to internal controls and company accounting practices<\/p>\n
Management & Compliance<\/p>\n
\tContribute to the development and review of financial policies and procedures
\n\tEnsure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, regulations, and legislation
\n\tIdentify, mitigate, and escalate financial and operational risks where necessary
\n\tSupport risk analysis and recommendations aimed at reducing exposure and improving compliance<\/p>\n

EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\tMinimum of 7 years\u2019 experience in Finance and Commercial functions
\n\tExperience working in a medium to large organisation
\n\tHands-on experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting
\n\tExperience in Finance Business Partnering, including collaboration with senior stakeholders to influence business outcomes
\n\tExposure to strategic decision support including scenario planning, investment appraisal, and business case development
\n\tStrong understanding of cost allocation methods, cost efficiency drivers, and product\/channel profitability analysis
\n\tFamiliarity with pricing strategy, revenue modelling, and commercial analysis across multiple products or channels
\n\tKnowledge of compliance, risk identification, and financial policy development within a regulated environment<\/p>\n
