MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB<\/p>\n
\tTo manage, draft and Maintain Supply chain Management Contracts. To give Supply Chain contractual and commercial advice and to provide Contract Management solutions to business units. Ensure compliance to the terms and conditions of the contract.<\/p>\n
Key Performance Areas<\/p>\n
Contract Management<\/p>\n
\tEngage with senior management \/ Executive level relating to Supply Chain Management Contracts.
\n\tImplement the agreement\/contract deliverables in accordance with the agreed upon performance requirements
\n\tImplement a contracts management system;
\n\tImplement systems to ensure synergy amongst departments.
\n\tFacilitate signatures
\n\tNegotiation of Commercial Terms
\n\tMonitor the agreement\/contract deliverables to ensure compliance and to detect possible deviances in performance pro-actively
\n\tDetect deviances and address appropriately with the relevant role players
\n\tAgree on corrective actions and implement; or
\n\tAmend agreements\/contracts where necessary and give advice on most appropriate contractual decisions.
\n\tImplement a Supplier Performance management system and monitor rectified performance against deviances to ensure compliance
\n\tDocument performance against the agreements\/contracts for reporting purposes
\n\tCompile the appropriate reports and to the relevant role players on all levels including executive level.<\/p>\n
Procurement Contracts Drafting<\/p>\n
\tDraft \/ populate the relevant and applicable Procurement Services Agreements and liaise with the Legal Department for vetting to ensure quick and effective contract completion.
\n\tEngage and liaise with the legal department regarding the negotiation of commercial terms with the Service Provider;
\n\tLiaise with the Legal Department, Business Units and Supplier to finalise Contract \/ Commercial terms<\/p>\n
Supplier Performance Management & Supplier Development<\/p>\n
\tDevelopment a performance matrix for suppliers
\n\tImplement a performance matrix for suppliers
\n\tMeasure supplier performance against matrix
\n\tMonitor supplier performance against matrix
\n\tReport on supplier performance
\n\tIdentify supplier development initiatives together with business
\n\tAdvise on initiatives in line with legislation
\n\tAssist with engagement of supplier
\n\tAssist with monitoring initiative
\n\tAssist with documentation and reporting on initiative<\/p>\n
Maintain Customer Relationships<\/p>\n
\tIdentify the relevant role players in accordance with business requirements and dependencies
\n\tSet-up meetings with the role players to discuss the roles and responsibilities and possible areas of cooperation, improvement and conflict
\n\tObtain mutual agreement on the resolution of issues, meetings required and the delivery of inter-dependent outputs and results
\n\tAgree to the expected outcomes from each party<\/p>\n
Documentation Management<\/p>\n
\tOversee, Draft, Manage and Maintain all required reports and documentation in line with policy and procedures
\n\tEstablish a system that ensures that all documentation are easily accessible
\n\tEnsure that all documentation is managed and maintained within allocated timeframes
\n\tEnsure that documentation is complete and readily available for audit purposes<\/p>\n

Preferred Minimum Education and Experience<\/p>\n
\t4 Year Legal Qualification (LLB) Degree or equivalent.
\n\tWorking towards 3 year qualification or equivalent Supply Chain Management qualification.
\n\t5years Experience within a Procurement environment
\n\t3years Experience in Supplier Performance Management
\n\t3years Experience in Contract Management<\/p>\n
Critical Competencies<\/p>\n
\tMicrosoft Office
\n\tKnowledge \/ Experience of Procurement Systems
\n\tIn depth working experience of contract management \/ law
\n\tRelevant Legislation
