Job Purpose:<\/p>\n
\tThe requirement of the Senior Payroll Administrator is to effectively administer the payroll functions on a specialist level.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tFunding requests to Treasury for Salary, 3rd party and Weekly payments
\n\tExport Salary payments to SAGE Pay
\n\tLoad all 3rd party payments on SAGE Pay
\n\tBalance and load the SARS payment on a monthly basis
\n\tTransfer employees between Company Rules
\n\tBalance the Pension and Provident fund Schedules
\n\tBalance PAYE, SDL and UIF before submission to SARS
\n\tMake sure all MIS sheets are uploaded and verified
\n\tUpdate the payroll Calendar and distribute internally
\n\tTimeous and Accurate delivery of monthly cost reports.
\n\tPrepare Nett Variances before salary transfer for sign off from manager before salary files are loaded
\n\tUpdate Disability payments as per the schedules received.
\n\tGenerate advanced reports as and when requested by business
\n\tKeep abreast with company policies and tax legislations that impact on remuneration
\n\tImporting any bulk imports and verifying the process and content
\n\tAssist the Reward & Organisational Design department and the Benefits Consultant where required.<\/p>\n
Required Knowledge and Experience\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\t5 – 8 years in a payroll administration environment
\n\t3 to 5 years Sage 300 technical experience.
\n\tStrong numerical and financial skills
\n\tStrong technical skills and good knowledge of Sage 300 system
\n\tAccuracy with attention to detail
\n\tAnalytical
\n\tProblem solving and diplomacy
\n\tExcellent communication skills
\n\tStress tolerance and excellent management skills<\/p>\n
