\tAccountable for the profitable management of all divisions of a Retail branch within the constraints of AFGRI Group strategies and policies.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION\/TRAINING\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12
\n\tBachelor’s Degree in Agriculture \/ Business \/ Finance \/ Management will be an advantage<\/p>\n
REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
\t3\u2013 5 years related management experience in Agri trade environment.<\/p>\n
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tProvide and maintain sound customer relations with internal and external clients (marketing).
\n\tMaintain control of critical administrative procedures and processes to ensure compliance with relevant policies and legislative requirements (loss control).
\n\tEnsure a well-managed inventory system.
\n\tManage the branch operations for business optimisation according to the department’s business plan.
\n\tManage the branch finances.
\n\tProvide leadership and support to all employees to ensure a motivated and competent staff complement.<\/p>\n
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE\/ COMPETENCIES\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tComputer literacy (MS Office)
\n\tFarming experience or knowledge of farming activities
\n\tKnowledge of John Deere products will be an advantage
\n\tKnowledge of other AFGRI product agencies
\n\tBasic financial skills
\n\tVerbal and written communication<\/p>\n
