This includes leading pricing and contribution-setting processes, ensuring financial sustainability and regulatory compliance, supporting scheme design through financial modelling, providing strategic guidance to stakeholders, and engaging with regulators, auditors, clients and governance bodies. \u2003<\/p>\n<p>You will engage with the following stakeholders:<\/p>\n<p>\tHeads of Scheme and Product departments<br \/>\n\tExecutive Committee<br \/>\n\tExternal Stakeholders<\/p>\n<p>Your key responsibilities include:<\/p>\n<p>Commercial Strategy Development and Execution<\/p>\n<p>\tDefine and lead the commercial strategy for the Chief Product and Schemes Office division, ensuring integration across schemes and product portfolios.<br \/>\n\tProvide strategic financial input into product development, innovation, and market positioning initiatives.<br \/>\n\tPartner with Product and Scheme leadership to evaluate new and existing offerings for commercial viability.<br \/>\n\tTranslate market insights and regulatory developments into opportunities for innovation and growth.<br \/>\n\tAlign commercial initiatives with the overall objectives of the Chief Product and Schemes Office and broader enterprise goals.<br \/>\n\tOversee go-to-market strategies and pricing models, collaborating with Product Heads to assess commercial feasibility and lifecycle profitability.<br \/>\n\tDrive the development of competitive value propositions that meet client\/member needs.<br \/>\n\tShape and manage channels to support growth and adapt to new market players.<br \/>\n\tBuild strategic partnerships that support BSA\u2019s commercial goals and strengthen market positioning<br \/>\n\tAlign marketing with brand and business goals to drive impact.<br \/>\n\tStrengthen market position through clear differentiation.<br \/>\n\tTrack key metrics to guide strategy and improve outcomes.<\/p>\n<p>Pricing &amp; Revenue Optimization<\/p>\n<p>\tDrive the design and implementation of sustainable pricing models, including benefit-cost alignment and member affordability.<br \/>\n\tOversee scheme contribution setting processes in partnership with finance team.<br \/>\n\tPartner closely with the Finance teams to assess financial viability, cross-subsidization impacts and the effects of benefit design changes.<br \/>\n\tMonitor and manage revenue leakage, cost pressures and margin erosion.<br \/>\n\tEnsure pricing models are compliant with regulatory requirements and support long-term sustainability.<\/p>\n<p>Support for Product and Scheme Development<\/p>\n<p>\tWork with Product, Finance, and Strategy teams to ensure new products and schemes are commercially viable.<br \/>\n\tAssess financial trade-offs in product design, including network design, benefits, and cost-saving features.<br \/>\n\tProvide commercial input into benefit development, product management, and value proposition improvement.<\/p>\n<p>QUALIFICATIONS \/ KNOWLEDGE<\/p>\n<p>\tChartered Accountant (CA(SA)) \u2013 Essential<br \/>\n\tPostgraduate Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field \u2013 Advantageous<\/p>\n<p>EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n<p>\tMinimum of 10 years\u2019 experience in commercial or financial leadership roles<br \/>\n\tMinimum 5 years in senior leadership, preferably within financial services<br \/>\n\tStrong exposure to scheme-based business models, product pricing, commercial governance and regulatory frameworks<br \/>\n\tAdvanced skills in financial modelling, scenario planning, and stakeholder management Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional teams and engaging executive and board-level stakeholders<\/p>\n<p>go to method of application \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( https:\/\/www.bankservafrica.com\/ ) or<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"BankservAfrica","_company_website":"https:\/\/www.bankservafrica.com\/","_company_tagline":"BankservAfrica is the largest automated clearing house in Africa.
