\tWe are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team for a 3-month contract period. The successful incumbent will be based within the Johannesburg metropolitan and will be responsible for all aspects of the sales process, including: onboarding new clients, developing clients and then closing them.
\n\tOnce sales have been made, you will help your company generate profits by determining the potential of particular accounts. You will also work closely with our company\u2019s head, our sales team, and our operations team to come up with sales strategies and new applications for our products.<\/p>\n
Key Duties and Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tBuild relationship with potential or existing customers
\n\tDetermine what constitutes success with every account by analyzing different opportunities,
\n\tExplain our product and service to potential clients during the initial sales presentation and introduce new services and products to current accounts
\n\tWork closely with product engineering and assist them in developing new applications for specific products
\n\tAddress client concerns and prepare all necessary contracts in order to close sales with new clients
\n\tDetermine how well various products are performing, identify areas where improvement could be made, and keep an eye on competitive products in the market in order to improve sales strategies
\n\tBe open to identifying and following through with new opportunities that could enhance the sales department as well as the company as a whole<\/p>\n
Educational Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tMatric or equivalent\u00a0<\/p>\n
Experience Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tAt least three years of experience working with clients and managing key relationships
\n\tExperience in a sales-related position and new business development
\n\tFMCG proven experience<\/p>\n
Skills and Competencies\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tA reputation for taking initiative, setting goals, and getting things done
\n\tThe ability to manage several projects at one time and manage time accordingly
\n\tKnowledge of forecourts and independent grocers workings (advantageous)
\n\tThe ability to focus on customers and ensure their satisfaction
\n\tBring passion, energy and reliance to the role<\/p>\n
