The role:<\/p>\n
\tThe purpose of this role is to control inventory and plan the demand for the Rock Tools Region Southern Africa.<\/p>\n
Key Performance Areas:<\/p>\n
\tLead the area Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings for areas of responsibility.
\n\tCollect forecast data, perform gap, or trend analysis, and recommend process improvements.
\n\tCommunicate and collaborate the forecasting and inventory management data with the regional key stakeholders.
\n\tProvide feedback and make recommendations to regions to ensure orders are created according to the forecast.
\n\tProvide support to internal departments to improve inventory management.
\n\tMaintain inventory parameters in collaboration with regional manager for all responsible stockrooms.
\n\tPerform replenishment planning based on the forecast.
\n\tRelease orders according to system requisitions and customer orders.
\n\tManage expediting requests from regions.
\n\tPerform detailed inventory analysis opportunities and optimize inventory levels.
\n\tWork with all relevant stakeholders to establish both short- and long-term inventory strategies
\n\tMonitor indicators related to inventory (Fill rate, Obsolete Slowing-Moving Inventory, Days-In Inventory (DII), Order Fulfillment Lead Time (OFLT), Forecast accuracy, Airfreight etc.).
\n\tProvide back up support to team members when required.<\/p>\n

\tMatric\/equivalent qualification
\n\tBCom Supply Chain Management qualification
\n\tKnowledge of S&OP process
\n\tAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills
\n\tStrong analytical skills
\n\tExperience in root cause analysis
\n\tExcellent time management skills
\n\tAbility to effectively prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
\n\tHigh attention to detail
\n\tAbility to implement and own process changes
\n\tGood presentation skills (verbal and written)
\n\tExperience with any forecasting tools
\n\tValid drivers’ license<\/p>\n
