Purpose of the role<\/p>\n
\tThe Supply Chain Admin Clerk is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the supply chain team. The role ensures accurate documentation, effective communication with stakeholders, and smooth coordination of supply chain processes, contributing to efficiency and compliance in daily operations.<\/p>\n
Main responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tMaintain and update supply chain records, files, and databases accurately.
\n\tProcess delivery notes, invoices, and other supply chain documentation.
\n\tAssist in inbound planning for supplier delivery
\n\tAssist in monitoring stock levels and inventory movement, highlighting discrepancies.
\n\tSupport supplier and customer communication, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups.
\n\tCapture and reconcile data for reporting purposes (stock, orders, deliveries, invoices).
\n\tCoordinate with warehouses, transport, and procurement teams to ensure smooth operations and seamless process flows.
\n\tAssist with preparation of supply chain reports and performance metrics.
\n\tEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
\n\tProvide general administrative support to the supply chain department.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
The successful candidate should have the following skills, experience and attributes:<\/p>\n
\tMatric (Grade 12) or equivalent; a diploma\/certificate in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Administration will be advantageous.
\n\tPrevious experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably in supply chain\/logistics.
\n\tProficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage.
\n\tStrong organizational and time-management skills.
\n\tExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
\n\tAttention to detail and high level of accuracy.
\n\tAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
\n\tAdministrative efficiency and accuracy.
