\tAs SGM, you\u2019ll be responsible for driving growth, building and nurturing powerful relationships, strengthening our position among both drivers and riders, and keeping our teams engaged, motivated, and thriving.
\n\tYou\u2019ll be the bridge between Bolt and the country\u2019s most important stakeholders, from regulators and government officials to local communities and business partners, while ensuring that our local operations are world-class.
\n\tThis role is not just about running a business, it\u2019s about making urban travel more affordable, convenient, and sustainable.
\n\tYou\u2019ll work closely with HQ teams (Growth Analytics, Expansion, Central Operations, Marketing, Product, Regulatory, CS), report directly to the Regional Director for Africa & Southeast Asia, and lead a team that is determined to transform mobility in one of the world\u2019s most dynamic markets.<\/p>\n
What you can expect
\nMain tasks and responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tLead South Africa\u2019s strategic and annual business planning, and be accountable for its execution.
\n\tIdentify local trends, opportunities and risks; create plans to to leverage on the opportunities \/ mitigate the risks.
\n\tOversee local operations and finances to ensure maximum impact and efficiency.
\n\tDesign in-market expansion strategies for ride hailing services and features.
\n\tTake full ownership of the country\u2019s P&L, delivering against ambitious KPIs.
\n\tLead, grow and inspire a high-performing team.<\/p>\n
What we expect
\nAbout you:<\/p>\n
\tYou have at least 7 years of experience in senior management within a fast-paced environment.
\n\tProven track record in P&L management and delivering results
\n\tExperience in commercial operations, with leadership in complex, high-growth settings Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
