Job Purpose:<\/p>\n
\tThe student advisor is responsible for recruiting new students through the application of the Rosebank College methodology, effective stakeholder relationship management and brand awareness.<\/p>\n
Duties & Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Creating Brand Awareness<\/p>\n
\tConduct School Presentations to matriculants and create brand awareness in the allocated zone.
\n\tMarkets the brand in new areas.
\n\tDoes presentations at schools. In order raise awareness of what RC has to offer students.
\n\tCold call parents to market the brand.
\n\tRepresent the brand at career expos.
\n\tFacilitates stakeholder events and foster strong relations through the hosting of educators\u2019 conference.<\/p>\n
Recruitment of students:<\/p>\n
\tMake follow up calls to prospective students.
\n\tInvite them for interviews to discuss prospective career options.
\n\tFollow up on online applications as submitted by prospective students.
\n\tRespond to on-line and telephonic enquiries.
\n\tConduct career consultations according to RC Process \/ Guidelines.
\n\tAdvise students of the application closing date.
\n\tAssist students in filling out the application form.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tMatric\u00a0
\n\tAdvances Diploma \/ Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7 \/ Marketing \/ Public Relations \/ Communication field (Ideal)\u00a0
\n\t1 – 2 years sales experience.
\n\t1 – 2 years customer service experience.
\n\tValid driving licence\u00a0<\/p>\n
Key Competencies (Operations):<\/p>\n
\tKnowledge and understanding of the South African higher education systems and regulatory framework.
\n\tAbility to manage time effectively.
\n\tAttention to detail.
\n\tCustomer service orientated.
\n\tAbility to effectively cope with change.
\n\tDeadline orientated and can work well under pressure.
\n\tBe able to work in a team environment.\u00a0
\n\tEffective communication skills<\/p>\n
