\tDevelop and execute comprehensive business development strategies for both Landbou24 and Landbou.com platforms
\n\tIdentify and pursue new revenue streams and market opportunities in the agricultural sector
\n\tBuild and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including farmers, suppliers, industry bodies, and agricultural organizations
\n\tDrive user acquisition and onboarding initiatives across both platforms
\n\tDevelop strategic partnerships with agricultural cooperatives, auctioneers, and industry intermediaries<\/p>\n
Strategic Acquisitions & Partnerships<\/p>\n
\tIdentify potential acquisition targets that align with our agricultural marketplace strategy
\n\tConduct market research and due diligence on potential acquisition opportunities
\n\tLead negotiations and partnership discussions with target companies
\n\tCollaborate with executive team on merger and acquisition activities
\n\tEvaluate strategic partnerships that could enhance platform capabilities or market reach<\/p>\n
Platform Synergies & Integration<\/p>\n
\tDevelop strategies to maximize synergies between Landbou24 marketplace and Landbou.com content platform
\n\tCreate integrated value propositions that leverage both platforms’ strengths
\n\tDrive cross-platform user engagement and content utilization
\n\tIdentify opportunities to enhance user experience through platform integration
\n\tCollaborate with product teams to ensure seamless user journey across platforms<\/p>\n
Engagement & User Experience<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and implement user engagement strategies to increase platform utilization
\n\tAnalyze user behavior and identify opportunities to improve retention and activity
\n\tDesign and execute campaigns to drive farmer registration and production unit onboarding
\n\tWork with marketing team to create compelling value propositions for different user segments
\n\tMonitor engagement metrics and optimize strategies based on performance data<\/p>\n
Market Expansion & Industry Relations<\/p>\n
\tRepresent the company at agricultural trade shows, conferences, and industry events
\n\tBuild relationships with industry bodies such as Red Meat Industry Standards (RMIS), Cape Wools, and other agricultural organizations
\n\tExplore international partnership opportunities and market expansion possibilities
\n\tStay current with agricultural industry trends, regulations, and market dynamics
\n\tContribute to thought leadership initiatives within the agricultural technology space<\/p>\n
Required Qualifications<\/p>\n
Education & Experience<\/p>\n
\tBachelor’s degree in Business or B.A in Media studies, Marketing, or related field
\n\t5+ years of business development experience, preferably in media, agricultural, technology, or marketplace sectors
\n\tProven track record of driving business growth and managing strategic partnerships
\n\tExperience with M&A activities or business acquisitions (preferred)<\/p>\n
