Responsibilities will include but not limited to:<\/p>\n
\tInterprets and coordinate pre-work with regards to repairs planned and predictive maintenance
\n\tAccesses any area safety to perform necessary maintenance on machines or equipment
\n\tPerforms safety inspections of equipment and assesses risks on equipment
\n\tMaintains a clean and safe worksite
\n\tEnsure the upkeep of maintenance tools and equipment
\n\tCoordinates activities associated with troubleshooting and repairing maintenance equipment
\n\tPerform hands on maintenance support during breakdowns and shutdowns
\n\tPerform standby duties and training of personnel, when required<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tRecognized Electrical Trade Test Certificate<\/p>\n
Internal Candidates<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 with Math (Not Literacy) & Science, minimum E symbol with relevant two N2 Trade related subjects as per MQA guideline or N2 with four relevant trade related subjects as per MQA guideline<\/p>\n
External Candidates<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 with Math (Not Literacy) & Science, minimum E symbol with four N2 relevant trade related subjects as per MQA guideline
\n\tHave sound knowledge of MHSA, safety systems and a high regard for safety, regulations and standards
\n\tGas Testing
\n\tFlame proofing
\n\tProven excellent safety record
\n\tDisplay good understanding of equipment & tools and uses thereof
\n\tGood communication and interpersonal skills
\n\tMust be able to speak, read and write in English
\n\tBe able to cope effectively with pressure in a production environment, be innovative and a self-starter
\n\tBe able to work in a team
\n\tBe able to identify faults and repair defects without supervision
\n\tValid Code EB driver\u2019s license
\n\tIn possession or able to obtain a valid Certificate of Fitness\u00a0<\/p>\n
Advantageous:<\/p>\n
\tA minimum of 2 Years\u2019 experience as a qualified Electrician in a Technical Services environment
\n\tExperience on HT & Cables
\n\tFlameproofing Certificate
\n\tOperation of Medium Voltage Switchgear and Distribution Networks Certificate
\n\tExperience in maintenance and fault finding on medium voltage switchgear and HT reticulation
\n\tComputer literacy in MS Office and SAP experience<\/p>\n
