What are we looking for?<\/p>\n
We are looking for someone with the following experience, qualifications and \/or skillsets:<\/p>\n
\tAn appropriate academic and professional education qualification from a recognised institution.
\n\t2 to 3 years experience in teaching\u00a0Afrikaans FAL.
\n\tCurrent SACE registration.
\n\tIEB curriculum experience.
\n\tA clear criminal record.<\/p>\n
The responsibilities are:<\/p>\n
\tPlan, control, record and report on assessments.
\n\tAttend meetings, forums, workshops for the grades\/phase as required.
\n\tCreate an educational atmosphere in the classroom.
\n\tTake responsibility for any and all school equipment and stock of the class.
\n\tWork closely with the teachers in the grades\/phase to ensure the effective running of the grades\/phase.
\n\tManage, plan, assist and promote teaching and learning within the class.
\n\tManage, plan, assist and promote activities (sport and culture) within the school.
\n\tManage, plan, assist and promote discipline within the grades\/phase.
\n\tAssist with sport and other admin duties as and when the need arises.
\n\tPersonal commitment to education and a willingness to contribute to the values and ethos of the school.<\/p>\n
