Main Purpose of the Job<\/p>\n
\t\u00a0Responsible to be the frontline customer service point for facilitating the flow and securing of cash from transactional exchanges with guests, satellite stations and other cash desk areas on the gaming floor (including caions and vault) and to assist with count processes as required, in line with internal professional standards and gaming regulations.<\/p>\n

\tCheck work area and ensure all equipment is functioning and ready for service.

\n\tCommunicate and follow-up on the correction of any equipment faults or defects.<\/p>\n
Customer Engagement<\/p>\n
\tConnect with all guests by providing them with a warm welcome, greeting them with a friendly smile, acknowledging them on arrival and departure, and ensuring respect at all times.
\n\tInteract with guests and provide professional service standards and relevant solutions.
\n\tIdentifies customers and understand their preferences.
\n\tEducate customers on business unit facilities, products and current promotions.
\n\tHandle any customer complaints, requests and \/ or suggestions to resolution, escalating if necessary.<\/p>\n
Count Administration<\/p>\n
\tClear slot machines on days that count will be performed.
\n\tConduct a count for the day.
\n\tCapture of data into the system.
\n\tReport on any suspicious transactions.
\n\tFile documentation.<\/p>\n
Cash Desk Transactions<\/p>\n
\tHandle all player transaction requirements with regards the exchange of cash, chips, vouchers and smart cards and paying out \u2018winnings\u2019.
\n\tReconciliations (treasury, automated cashier machine, chip) are completed daily.
\n\tCalculate and execute pay-outs.
\n\tAccurately conduct financial transactions on the gaming systems
\n\tIdentifies and escalates suspicious transactions and possible fraudulent activity.
\n\tConduct cash-ups and reconcile float at the end of service.
\n\tSubstantiate and report on any float variances.
\n\tSecure and transport float as required.
\n\tGuest information and copies of trading and transactional documentation is accurately recorded in the system.
\n\tSupporting documents have been generated for auditing purposes.<\/p>\n

\tKnowledge required involves the practical application of work procedures and processes.
\n\tPlanning is generally on a short-term basis (within 3 months) and within regular activity cycles.
