Job Summary:<\/p>\n
\tWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Due Diligence Specialist to join our team. This role involves facilitating the full end-to-end onboarding and due diligence process for all new and existing local and international business partners. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, a strong understanding of compliance principles, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tConduct standard and ongoing due diligence at entity level of all new and existing corporate partners globally.
\n\tAssist with due diligence team training and refining internal due diligence processes.
\n\tAttend to annual reviews received from existing corporate partners globally.
\n\tConduct annual reviews on existing corporate partners globally.
\n\tIdentification of UBOs: conduct Ultimate Beneficial Ownership identification for corporate partners globally.
\n\tScreening: conducting PEP\/PIP screening, sanctions screening, and adverse media screening on corporate partners and related persons globally.
\n\tCollecting and analysing data derived from multiple sources, including publicly available databases and websites.
\n\tWork closely with other departments including Business Development, Finance and ICT-IT teams.
\n\tLiaise with relevant internal stakeholders and update internal documents used in the due diligence process, as and when needed to ensure documents reflect up-to-date information.
\n\tAttend to compiling due diligence reports for signoff by in-country compliance officers.
\n\tMaintain a neat, secure and orderly filing system for due diligence.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Experience:<\/p>\n
\t3 – 5 years\u2019 experience in a due diligence\/compliance role dealing with cross-border KYC\/KYBP.
\n\tExperience in Fintech or Financial Services industries is preferable but not essential.
\n\tTeam player but capable of working independently and meeting tight deadlines.
\n\tExperience with systems such as DowJones\/LexisNexis etc.
\n\tAttention to detail is critical in this role.<\/p>\n
Skills Required:<\/p>\n
\tIntermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
\n\tEffective time management.
\n\tAbility to multi-task and prioritise.
\n\tAdaptable to change in a fast-paced environment.
\n\tBe practical orientated.
\n\tUnderstand and apply a risk-based approach.<\/p>\n

Preferred Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tAML\/CFT Compliance qualification\/certification is essential.
\n\tExperience with due diligence software or tools.
\n\tKnowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations.<\/p>\n
