Compliance Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ROLE PURPOSE<\/p>\n<p>\tResponsible to produce fire evacuation plans, council building plans for submission, compile and coordinate all required certification to call for occupancy inspections, and get fire- and occupation certificates issued.<\/p>\n<p>MAIN OUTPUTS<\/p>\n<p>\tRegularly communicate and coordinate through meetings and e-mail with clients, consultants, landlords, architects and staff to compile and collect project information on feasibility and analyse the information to draw sketches and receive approval thereof from the client<br \/>\n\tApply necessary corrections to drawings when requested.<br \/>\n\tMaintain and save drawings to various systems as prescribed by the various contracts.<br \/>\n\tPerform site visits to gather necessary site measurement, layouts and building details to complete a set of sketches, working drawings or as built drawings when requested.<br \/>\n\tProvide document \u2013 and record management system and administration support<br \/>\n\tEnsure that drawing applications and space layouts comply with regulatory bodies, National Building Regulations (SANS), Occupational Health and Safety, municipal requirements, etc<br \/>\n\tAttend meetings and conduct site visits as may be required by the client<br \/>\n\tResponsible for the delivery of tasks within specified timeframes.<br \/>\n\tUpdate and maintain Compliance tracker on progress of submissions and received\/current compliance documentation.<br \/>\n\tPrepare drawings for submission to due diligence streams.<br \/>\n\tOccasionally travel to regions to facilitate council submissions<br \/>\n\tImplement and maintain a process for ensuring that all relevant building certificates are maintained, and status recorded monthly<br \/>\n\tDaily Support and Management:<br \/>\n\tEstablish and develop Workplace Solution capabilities by providing coaching and guidance to site teams to improve methods of carrying out work.<br \/>\n\tEnsure that workflow continues without interruption.<br \/>\n\tEnsure efficient and effective performance and turn-around times.<br \/>\n\tSchedule and hold regular feedback meetings with all relevant staff and stakeholders.<br \/>\n\tEnsure distribution and control of sensitive information and reports to authorised persons only.<br \/>\n\tEnsure all related invoices are approved and sent for payment timeously.<br \/>\n\tEnsure timeous procurement of vendors and related materials.<br \/>\n\tCustomer Service and Advice:<br \/>\n\tKeep up to date with business developments and strategic objectives within the environment.<br \/>\n\tProvide advice on general changes and compliance within the Drawing Office when required.<br \/>\n\tWork with existing processes and procedures in such a way that operational efficiencies and performance are enhanced.<br \/>\n\tRecommend processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiencies.<br \/>\n\tAttend to and resolve all customer queries timeously or escalate when necessary.<br \/>\n\tFollow up and follow through on all queries timeously.<br \/>\n\tUpdate and maintain drawing information and stakeholder relationships.<br \/>\n\tManage conflict.<br \/>\n\tAdditional:<br \/>\n\tUndertake such other responsibilities as directed by Management that will drive sustainability.<br \/>\n\tWork in a flexible way so that tasks, which are not specifically covered in the job description, are undertaken.<br \/>\n\tTake responsibility for one\u2019s own performance.<br \/>\n\tPromote BFM\u2019s image and corporate citizenry through deliberate and co-ordinated activities.<br \/>\n\tAdhere to the BFM\u2019s Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) Management System\u2019s Policies &amp;
